The Satoyama annex, "Kikyotei," has a large open-air bath with a view, filled with the skin-beautifying hot spring water from the Sakura source.
A new attraction of Yahataya is the annex "Kikyotei" that opened in 2019. The large open-air baths "Inariyama Oka-no-yu" and "Inariyama Tani-no-yu" overlooking the sky blend in with the tranquility of the nature-filled countryside beneath the open sky, creating a particularly open and relaxing bathing experience. The feeling of enjoying the view of the greenery of the countryside and wildflowers is simply refreshing. The hot spring is a colorless and transparent alkaline simple spring with a temperature of 43 degrees that gushes out from the "Sakura source" that was successfully excavated in 2013, and has a high pH of 9.8, making the skin smooth. The water feels different from the radon spring in the main building, which has long been popular in this area and is said to be effective after three days in the bath.
The open-air bath and the indoor bath are connected, and the view of Mt. Inari that changes with time is reflected on the surface of the water. The atmosphere at dusk and at night when the moonlight is floating is also fascinating. There are four types of private hot spring baths where you can see the waterfall flowing from the artificial hill, along with the seasonal atmosphere.
The main building, Togetsukan and Saigetsukan, has a large open-ceiling space and features large baths for men and women, a large open-air bath with huge rocks and a garden, two types of radon hot spring saunas where water is drawn directly from the source, and a sauna made from Inner Mongolian Maifan stone that is expected to have a remarkable far-infrared effect, so you can continue to relax in the hot springs for as long as time allows. If you want to relax, we recommend the Sukiya-style Japanese-style rooms or Japanese-Western rooms on the 4th to 8th floors. The panoramic view from the windows is so colorful that it makes you feel like you are in the 24 solar terms of spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Seasonal cuisine made with Abukuma's seasonal ingredients and traditional techniques
For dinner, enjoy a seasonal kaiseki meal made with carefully selected ingredients from the mountains and sea, using cooking techniques unique to Yahataya that have been carefully passed down for over 100 years. A wide variety of menus are available for both the various plans and courses. The inn is proud of its "Fuku Unagi" eels, which are raised from young fish in the underground waters of the Adatara Plateau. Be sure to also try the "delicious special additional dishes" such as soft-shelled turtle hotpot, wagyu steak, sukiyaki hotpot, boat-shaped platters, and sushi. The Kigotei also has a modern dining area overlooking the countryside. A relaxing stay is guaranteed by the "customer-first" hospitality that has remained unchanged since the inn's founding.
Ishikawa Honey Beef Tongue. Beef tongue from Japanese black beef cattle raised in the natural waters and lush forests of Ishikawa Town, where they are given honey to help them recover from fatigue and relieve stress.
