An ocean view inn with spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.
The space and hospitality have been further upgraded, especially in the popular guest rooms that promise a luxurious stay.
Located along Kinosaki Coast on the Boso Peninsula, Yado Nakaya is a luxurious inn with outstanding ocean views. It reopened on March 1, 2024 with a new look, creating an even more luxurious atmosphere. As you pass through the newly renovated entrance with anticipation, you will be greeted by the soft scent of cedar trees and a view of Kinosaki Coast through the large windows... A relaxing holiday by the sea begins.
The lobby is scheduled to reopen on March 1, 2024. It is an open space filled with the warmth of wood.
The newly renovated guest rooms are "Umibe no Machi" on the 4th floor and "Romantic Song" on the 5th floor. The sofa seats have been carefully positioned and placed to allow guests to enjoy the open view of Kinosaki Coast, the inn's pride, from the best angle, further improving the impression and comfort of the ocean view rooms. By the window is a semi-open-air bath with natural hot spring water for beauty. At dusk, you can watch the sun sink beyond the horizon, and in the early morning, you can listen to the sound of the rippling waves in the silence of the morning glow... They have truly been reborn as "best seats by the sea."
You can also enjoy the panoramic view from the open-air bath by the window, where the natural hot spring water flows directly from the source.
Yado Nakaya is also known as a gourmet inn, and its seafood kaiseki cuisine incorporating seasonal ingredients, created by its head chef, who has received awards such as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award and the Culinary Achievement Award, has been highly acclaimed. To allow guests to leisurely savor the deliciousness of the seafood kaiseki cuisine, restaurants "Nagisa" and "Hamabe no Monogatari" have also been renovated. The space has a unified design based on "ancient colors" such as Edo purple and gardenia, and there are boards at the seats explaining the meanings of these ancient colors. Appetizer dishes are accompanied by handwritten explanations of the dishes by the proprietress, allowing guests to enjoy a gourmet moment while feeling the careful attention to detail. A select shop has also been opened on the first floor, where incense installed in the guest rooms and works by local potters are on display.
During your stay, you can enjoy the highly alkaline "Kinosaki hot spring water" with a pH of 8.8 to your heart's content. The large public baths "Kinosaki no Yu" and "Kakai no Yu" are filled with 100% natural hot spring water, allowing you to stretch out your limbs in comfort. After bathing, you can enjoy an aroma oil treatment or a sunset stroll along Kinosaki Coast, right in front of you. With this new space, the inn's hospitality is sure to be further refined.
