A resort scene to enjoy on the beachfront of Izu Yumigahama.
The exceptionally luxurious guest rooms are reminiscent of a seaside villa.
Tokiichiyu offers a luxurious experience on the beachfront of Izu Yumigahama, with its beautiful white sand. The resort offers extraordinary spaces based on the concept of "resolante." The most popular is the maisonette suite with an open-air hot spring bath in the annex "Kino Club," which emphasizes privacy. Both are luxurious 100m2 spaces with views of the sea and mountains, and include a Japanese-style room, twin bedroom, and balcony. Two of the rooms also have a living room. Guests can choose between a view from the open-air bath facing Yumigahama or the mountains. Guests can also enjoy a kaiseki dinner and a Japanese breakfast at the private restaurant "Shun no Arika."
There are three types of open-air baths attached to the large bath: a rock bath, a stone bath, and a cypress bath.
Renovations are underway in the main building to meet requests for rooms with bedrooms and non-smoking rooms. The executive twin rooms with open-air hot spring baths come in a variety of different layouts, and in June 2023 a Japanese-modern room inspired by the tranquil shores of Yumigahama will be launched. The twin beds face the large windows, allowing you to hear the sounds of the waves through the pine forest. The design makes guests feel closer to the nature of southern Izu. The VIP room "Toki no Zaidokoro" is a maisonette space with a bedroom on the fourth floor, a living room, balcony and two Japanese rooms on the third floor, making it feel like a seaside villa. A relaxing and luxurious stay is promised.
The maisonette suite "Manetsu" with its own open-air hot spring bath in the annex "Kino Club" meets the request of "a bath while looking out at Yumigahama Beach."
A traditional hot spring on the beach. A seafood restaurant serving seasonal ingredients from Minami Izu.
The natural hot springs, full of minerals, are a delight. They are said to have been discovered at the end of the Muromachi period, and can be enjoyed in the large public baths for men and women, which are equipped with three types of open-air baths and a low-temperature sauna. Three free private open-air baths are also available.
For dinner, enjoy the "Umiseki Yuzen" meal, which focuses on seasonal ingredients from southern Izu and makes the most of the natural flavors of the ingredients. In addition to fresh seafood caught that day, such as red snapper and live abalone, you can also enjoy ingredients such as spiny lobster when the season opens, in a variety of Japanese dishes, fisherman's dishes, and creative dishes. Breakfast is a Japanese set menu that includes locally produced dried fish, homemade tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) and miso soup. Guests staying in the main building dine in the modern "Nagisa Dining."
Not only the location with a view of the sea, but also the inn's skillful design and warm considerations make your resort stay even more magnificent.
The chef's top recommendation is "Boiled Alfonsino." They will cook it for you according to your mealtime.
