Conveniently located just a three-minute walk from Toba Station, Todaya offers an exceptionally fulfilling resort stay with its views, accommodation, hot springs, and delicious food.
One thing worth noting is the exceptionally comfortable facilities that will reopen on July 13, 2024 after approximately two years of renovation work. At Ukishun-tei, where all rooms have ocean views, the most popular room is Watatsumi no Sho on the 11th to 15th floors, which overlooks Toba Bay from 40 meters above sea level. The Taikan no Ma on the 15th floor and the guest rooms on the 11th to 14th floors have been renovated. In addition, all rooms in Ama no Sho on the 6th to 10th floors have also been renovated, creating a comfortable space with a view of the sea.
In the South Wing, Kirara offers a variety of guest rooms, including Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-Western rooms, and barrier-free Western-style triple rooms, while Uo Uo Yume offers rooms with open-air baths, deluxe Japanese-Western rooms, Japanese-style rooms, Japanese-Western rooms ideal for families and groups, and Western-style twin rooms. However, 14 of Kirara's Japanese-style rooms have been converted into Japanese-Western rooms, creating relaxing spaces that match the modern trend for comfort.
The new guest rooms, "Watatsumi no Sho," were renovated and reopened on the 11th to 15th floors of Ukishun-tei in December 2022. The photo shows the guest room bath in a Japanese-Western suite with an open-air bath in the sky (one example).
The large bath in the South Building has also been renovated and reopened, making the hot springs even more enjoyable. The buffet where you can enjoy the flavors of Ise-Shima, new kaiseki cuisine, and in-room dining are also very popular.
Todaya offers a variety of baths to help you feel refreshed and enjoyable. The large public baths for men and women in Kishun-tei South Building have also been renovated and reopened, making the bathing experience even more enjoyable. The women's large bath has also been equipped with ReFa microbubble shower heads. The South Building also has a 18-bed rock bath, including a private room for two people, and a barrier-free private feng shui family bath, which can be enjoyed in combination with the hot springs.
The South Building's large public bath, Hamanoyu, was renovated and reopened on December 2, 2023.
The most popular is the Todaya Onsen Village, where you can enjoy a variety of hot spring baths while looking out over Toba Bay. There are separate baths for men and women, and you can enjoy a relaxing time soaking in the alkaline simple spring water that is gentle on the skin. At Yutei, you can also use the free private hot spring baths as much as you like.
You can choose from three dining options to enjoy the best of food. At Shinwa Dining "Ten Chi Umi," a local fish butchering show is held every night in the live kitchen with a 10-meter counter, and you can enjoy all-you-can-eat freshly baked and fried dishes such as fresh sushi, stone oven pizza, teppanyaki, and shellfish. At "Tofu to Umi," you can enjoy new kaiseki cuisine cooked in front of you by Japanese and Western chefs in the open kitchen while enjoying a slowly rotating 360-degree view. For families and groups, various kaiseki dishes are available to be enjoyed in your room or private room. Guest rooms with beautiful views, hot springs, and fine cuisine... the resort is packed with fun.
Enjoy the night view from the Tokai region's only revolving observation restaurant, "Tofu to Umi," while savoring "newly created kaiseki cuisine" prepared by Japanese and Western cuisine artisans.
Shinwa Dining "Ten Chi Umi" features a live kitchen with a 10m counter where freshly cooked dishes are lined up. You can enjoy hot, freshly made, and baked food to your heart's content.
