Located in Yamagata, a treasure trove of food, Tendo Hotel continues to pursue the endless possibilities of food. The three chefs - the Western chef, who holds the title of Disciple d'Auguste Escoffier, the Japanese chef and the Chinese chef, who have won numerous awards - compete to create an eclectic kaiseki meal that combines Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine. This is a gourmet kaiseki meal that can only be achieved at a Bimigushin no Yado. The stage for the meal is the sophisticated and modern Dining Momiji, and the top floor private dining room Saikatei, which has a sweeping view. We recommend the special plan to enjoy in Saikatei's "private room with a night view." You can savour the delicious food in a special seat with a view. There are only 10 rooms available, so early reservations are recommended.

Saika-tei is a private dining hall on the top floor, 10th floor. Of the 20 rooms, 10 are window-side private rooms with views of Tendo city.
The largest indoor bath in Tendo and the open-air bath overlooking the waterfall are wonderful. The "beauty bath" is rich in natural moisturizing ingredients, and the negative ions from the waterfall have a calming effect, creating a synergistic effect that will give you a spectacularly relaxing time. In March 2024, the private bath "Sakura" and the after-bath lounge "Tsuki" will open, adding even more charm to your time spent relaxing in the bath. The private bath is a completely private space with a bathtub where four people can enjoy the beauty bath together and a relaxing after-bath space. The shower head, hair dryer, and hair iron are "Refa," which are popular among women. The after-bath lounge is a premium lounge that can only be used by those who apply for a special plan. In addition to being able to freely enjoy beer, wine, local sake, etc., there are also massage machines and 2,000 manga books, so you can spend your time as you like.
The spacious private bath "Sakura" is so luxuriously spacious and equipped with a bathtub. It promises a top-class hot spring bathing experience.
At first glance, the spaciousness and atmosphere of the post-bath lounge "Tsuki" is reminiscent of a lobby lounge. You can relax and forget about time.
A new, exceptionally comfortable range of rooms created to meet the needs of the times
Recent renovations have expanded the choice of rooms. In 2020, in response to the desire for comfort, 14 "Japanese Modern Twin" rooms with semi-double beds were created on the 7th and 8th floors overlooking the city of Tendo. In response to requests for universal design that allows wheelchair users to stay safely, in 2022, two "Guest Rooms with Hot Springs" with an entrance ramp, dining room, 10 tatami Japanese-style room, bedroom with semi-double bed, and ceramic hot spring bath were renovated and reopened in an all-flat space of 90 m2, as well as 10 "Japanese-style Twin" rooms with beds in Japanese-style rooms for two people only. All of these rooms are exceptionally comfortable, equipped with Simmons beds that induce a good night's sleep. During your stay, you can relax in the lounge overlooking the magnificent garden waterfall, which is so magnificent it's hard to believe you're in the middle of the city. The staff are friendly and natural, and will soothe you with a truly fulfilling time.
