The Yubatake hot spring is said to be of the highest quality in Kusatsu. At Takamatsu, which is about a four-minute walk from the Yubatake, the hot spring water is drawn directly from the source and flows into all the baths. This makes it appealing that you can enjoy "raw" hot spring water at any time. At the large public bath "Megumi," you can enjoy the raw hot spring water in three baths: warm, moderate, and hot. You can also enjoy the pleasure of free-flowing hot spring water at the large public bath "Izumi," which features three open-air baths: a rock bath, a cypress bath, and a ceramic bath. The open-air bath and post-bath area will be renovated in June 2024, making the hot spring relaxation even more enjoyable.
The extraordinary new guest rooms "Tenkyu" and "Shugyo", which opened in April 2023, are premium spaces equipped with a semi-open-air bath with natural hot spring water as well as a sauna and a cold bath. The hotel boasts such comprehensive facilities that you'll want to stay for multiple nights. In April 2024, the space will be renovated to enhance your stay. The new lounge in the lobby will start offering drink service (16:00-18:00). The second floor is equipped with a coin laundry, PC corner, microwave, ice maker, and vending machines. A new wooden deck has also been installed, creating an open and relaxing atmosphere.

Takamatsu offers exceptional cuisine and dining space under the concept of "four types of delightful banquets in four restaurants." At restaurant Kiwami, you can find a variety of dishes that will impress even the most gourmet, such as a hot pot of the highest quality carefully selected Joshu Wagyu beef, local freshwater trout and seafood sashimi, a main dish of chateaubriand and sauteed foie gras with truffles, and specially selected nigiri sushi. At Shunsai Nabeya Kirakutei, which has an open kitchen, you can enjoy the ultimate cuisine centered on ingredients from Gunma Prefecture, such as Joshu Wagyu beef served in sukiyaki, teppanyaki, and shabu-shabu.

Takamatsu Restaurant "Kiwami" Kiwami is a restaurant that offers a private room (for up to 8 people) where you can fully enjoy a sense of privacy, as well as counter seats with a relaxed atmosphere.

Guests can also enjoy a monthly special kaiseki meal in private if they dine in their rooms. The top floor is also home to the breakfast venue, Main Dining Kiboho. It is a half-buffet style where you can enjoy both the monthly kaiseki meal and the buffet.

Takamatsu cuisine

Joshu Wagyu is a brand of beef. When cooked, the fine marbling releases its flavor, giving it a rich taste.

A new wing called "Aeru Yado Takamatsu" has opened within a one-minute walk, based on the concept of "blending Japanese and Western styles." It offers modern guest rooms with balconies and Simmons beds, a large public bath and open-air bath where you can enjoy the hot spring water, a bedrock bath, a sauna, and a half-buffet restaurant, which can be used according to the purpose of your trip and the number of people you are traveling with.
