Sansuiso is an Sansuiso bath "Taishi no Yu" on the third floor. Right nearby is the magnificent view of the two-tiered Arakawa waterfall, with the powerful waterfall splashing and making a magnificent sound echoing all around. The water flows at 230 liters per minute from the source, which bubbles up at about 60 degrees. Because of the high temperature, it is cooled with natural spring water, but the bath is extremely comfortable. You'll want to soak in it forever while gazing at the waterfall.
The hotel has a dynamic two-floor bath called "Fuchi no Yu," a large open-air bath called "Taki no Yu" with a view of the majestic Arakawa River valley and two-tiered waterfall below, a Noyu bath, and five private baths. There are also a variety of baths available, including the large open-air baths with natural hot spring water, "Tamayura no Yu" and "Tsuredure no Yu," which were reopened in March 2023. The indoor baths are equipped with auto-loyly saunas and ReFa showerheads, and the open-air baths with natural hot spring water overlooking the gardens provide an exceptionally comfortable and relaxing experience. It looks like there are plenty of options to explore the different hot springs.
The much talked about guest room is Shisuitei, which reopened in 2022. There are 15 rooms with open-air baths or semi-open-air baths with natural hot spring water and a terrace. The structure is designed with privacy in mind, and the open atmosphere of being able to view the majestic nature of Agatsuma from the open-air bath or terrace is popular. Universal design suites are also available for a safe and comfortable stay. In March 2024, four guest rooms equipped with Simmons twin beds will open on the sixth floor of Kachoen. From the chairs on the veranda, you can enjoy the view of the colorful Japanese garden, which is reminiscent of the beauty of nature.
Shisuitei is a guest room with an open-air bath and terrace that promises the ultimate relaxation. Since its reopening in May 2022, this room has been a hot topic as it allows you to enjoy the hot spring water directly from the source as much as you want, whenever you want.
Kachoen, which reopened in March 2024, is a space where you can enjoy the beauty of nature without leaving your home.
The dining area exclusively for guests staying at the guest room "Shisuitei" is the modern private room "Ryotei Tozato." In the newly refurbished, completely private rooms, you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine that makes the most of the local Fukushima produce. You can also order trout dishes raised in spring water drawn from deep in the forest. The restaurant has also been reborn as "Shintatsu," an open kitchen restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The meal is a full Japanese course meal. Freshly cooked dishes, carefully prepared by the veteran head chef and staff, are brought out one by one. When you have time to relax, why not view the "Tsuchyu Kokeshi" dolls or take a stroll through the gardens decorated with the seasons? A hot spring in the mountains, new relaxing guest rooms, and food made with care. A holiday with all three of these is refreshing.
Ryotei Toori is a completely private restaurant exclusively for guests staying at Shisuitei that was opened together with Shisuitei.
