A peaceful "home" surrounded by the forests of Noboribetsu.
Enjoy some relaxing private time in deep silence.
A relaxing and soothing "home" where you can spend time. A bridge dedicated to the inn that spans the Noboribetsu Onsen river Kusurisanbetsu, which continues from the source of the hot spring, connects the Noboribetsu Onsen town and Takinoya. Once you cross the bridge, your "home", Takinoya, awaits you.
The guest rooms, where you can relax and unwind as if you were at home, include rooms with an open-air hot spring bath that blends Japanese nostalgia with Western modernity, and Japanese-style rooms and Japanese-Western rooms that are filled with the relaxation of a hot spring inn. All of them are spaces that blend with nature. The Noboribetsu forest close by invites you into an exceptional silence.
Many of the rooms with open-air hot spring baths feature a bathtub filled with Noboribetsu's iron springs on a wooden deck, offering a view of the forest and the ultimate bliss of bathing. Aiming for complete privacy, some rooms are equipped with a separate door for the staff who bring meals to your room. The Japanese-style rooms and Japanese-Western rooms come with a variety of layouts, including an indoor bath with heated water from the underground water of Noboribetsu's virgin forest, a fireplace, and openings on two sides, allowing for private time.
On the top floor, there is the "Kumoino-yu" bath. The forest is reflected in the bathtub mirror, making it look like a painting.
Two baths to enjoy the hot springs of Jigokudani A gourmet feast that inherits the techniques of a traditional Japanese inn
Enjoy the healing of hot springs in two baths, Heaven and Earth. The top floor "Kumoino-yu" has free-flowing salt and iron springs, and is alternated for men and women. The vast sky and forest green reflected in the bath mirror will take your breath away. The "Jien-no-yu" on the second basement floor is surrounded by a dignified atmosphere of trees. The baths are filled with sulfur and radium springs from Jigokudani. It is the warmth of the earth.
"Jien no Yu" is filled with hot spring water drawn from Jigokudani. The spring quality is radium spring and sulfur spring.
The cuisine is of the lineage of a traditional Japanese inn. The restaurant exudes the aroma of a traditional Japanese restaurant, where the chefs demonstrate their skills through dialogue with the guests, and the garden, furnishings, and quality of hospitality. For dinner, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal full of local flavors, such as Noboribetsu Wagyu beef, Tokachi beef, Sohachi flounder, seasonal salmon, hairy crab from Funka Bay, and Hobetsu melon, in a private room overlooking the garden. The century-old traditional "potato mochi" is served with a jade bean paste sauce. The sashimi is served with a foamy soy sauce that feels like a cappuccino. The flavor of the dashi stock is also elegant and exquisite. For breakfast, you can enjoy a slightly different inn breakfast, with miso soup with a different dashi stock than the dinner clear soup, eggs from Shiraoi Town, and local tsuyu and natto.
Relax in a special seat where peace and tranquility lurk. A chat room with crackling firewood, a lounge with jazz music, a secret bar... Time flows quietly as you are yourself. This house may be a little too luxurious, but the relaxation is deeper than you can imagine.
