Noboribetsu Grand Hotel Hotel has a history of 85 years as the elegant "Noboribetsu Guest House." It is widely known for its European-style relaxation, with its glittering chandelier-filled lobby, refined hospitality, fine cuisine, and Roman-style large baths, but in 2022, a new facility and service with a strong impact will be born that will overturn that image. It's called "Oni Sauna." It is a full-scale auto-louver sauna created with the concept of "making the three hot springs (salt springs, iron springs, and sulfur springs) and the sauna the double main focus."
The innovative hot spring facility, a renovated garden open-air bath, features a rough exterior reminiscent of an ogre's dwelling, an auto-loyly sauna set at a high temperature of 110 degrees, a cypress water bath using stream water from the northeastern part of Noboribetsu as a "cold bath", a hagama bath that allows alternating cold and hot water baths, a wood deck as an "open-air bath" space, and an open-air rock bath full of wildness overflowing with sulfur springs, making it a major refreshing zone. The two Roman-style large baths (men and women alternate) where you can enjoy the three spring qualities have also been newly built with an 80-degree self-loyly sauna "Seiryu", which has been renamed "Hozuki no Yu" and "Rindo no Yu" and is incorporated into the healing story. While feeling the strong presence of the "ogre", the symbol of Noboribetsu, you can enjoy auto-loyly and self-loyly, and be deeply healed by the water and wind of Noboribetsu... This is how you "get in tune with the demon". Even enthusiastic sauna freaks will cheer for the deep satisfaction.

The soothing atmosphere is further enhanced by the refined guest rooms in the South Wing New Guest Rooms and the Executive Floor. The South Wing Comfort Twin Rooms have a calming interior with natural-toned furniture and Simmons beds, offering high-quality relaxation. The Executive Floor offers two luxurious types of rooms: a suite with a cypress-clad artificial spring panoramic bath and a twin room. Depending on the plan, Japanese kaiseki cuisine full of seasonal ingredients is served at modern Western-style dining restaurant "Kasen" and other establishments.
A suite-type room with a panoramic bath. This is the only room type that comes with a dresser with lighting.
Both dinner and breakfast are served buffet style, with the chef preparing the food right in front of you. Enjoy authentic Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, each carefully prepared using ingredients unique to Hokkaido, a treasure trove of food.
Part of the venue will be renovated in January 2024, and the menu will be renewed accordingly. Steaks made from domestic beef, Shibecha Town's "Starry Sky Black Beef", will also be added. The lively grill corner, the chefs' gestures and performances that stimulate the five senses... You can see the pride of the hotel, which continues to welcome many distinguished guests from Japan and abroad. Enjoy a relaxing hotel life while being deeply soothed by the Oni Sauna and hot springs. The story of such a blissful journey begins in Noboribetsu.
