Hotel Park offers the best views of Mt. Kinka and the Nagara River in the area. The open-air bath on the roof of the panoramic bath "Yama no Yu" is known as the "open-air bath closest to Mt. Kinka," and you can have the magnificent view of Mt. Kinka all to yourself, whether you're watching the moon at night or watching the crimson color of dawn in the morning. The view of Mt. Kinka in the season of fresh green leaves or autumn leaves, and Gifu Castle in a snowy landscape are also particularly impressive. Another panoramic bath is "Kawa no Yu." From the open-air bath, you can see the leisurely flowing Nagara River. The bath is filled with a simple iron-cold spring rich in iron and radon. The source is colorless and transparent, but when it comes into contact with the air, it turns red and cloudy. It is extremely popular among women as a skin-beautifying bath that makes the skin smooth. For female guests, there is also a bedrock bath "Yuzuriha" where you can choose from three types of stone: Yakuhogyokuseki, germanium, and Bakuhanseki.
The negative ions pouring down from Mt. Kinka, the chirps of the birds, the murmuring of the river, the scent of the trees... The guest rooms are equipped with spaces where you can feel like you are bathing in the forest, such as the "Mt. Kinka Forest Bathing Room" where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the changing seasons, and the "Relaxed Japanese-style Room to Enjoy Your Trip" where you can choose a view of the mountain side.
Guests can choose between castle view or river view. The "Rooms where you can feel the seasonal winds," which were renovated and reopened in 2023, are luxurious adult spaces overlooking Gifu Castle and nature. Guests can also enjoy a special dinner in the private dining area with a view of Mt. Kinka. The one and only "Top Floor Corner Room" is in a fantastic location with Mt. Kinka, the setting for "The Tale of the Conquering Country," to the right, the upstream of the Nagara River directly in front, and Mt. Momodamine to the left. On days when the Nagaragawa River cormorant fishing event is held, it is a top-class space where guests can view the bonfires swaying on the river surface and the impressive cormorant fishing parade. The "Modern Rooms with Beds" are also popular rooms with views of the cormorant fishing parade.

Dinner is a seasonal banquet course meal with plenty of seasonal ingredients. The mineral-rich river delicacies nurtured by the clear waters of the Nagara River are also exquisitely delicious. A popular dish from when the restaurant first opened, "Beef Hotpot," is also available as a reissue. "Rafter Hotpot," a favorite dish of rafters who transported logs cut from Gunma, is also a standard dish. "Nobunaga Banquet," created to mark 450 years since Oda Nobunaga entered Gifu Castle and named Gifu, is served on a vermilion-lacquered tray bearing the quince crest of the Oda clan. Breakfast is a buffet or a healthy Japanese set meal. You can also enjoy the local dish of Hoba Miso.
"Nobunaga Banquet" is based on a hospitality dish recreated by the head chef of Nagara River in April 2012, and includes carp washing, salt-grilled sweetfish caught in the Nagara River, Ujimaru (eel), pheasant, vinegared burdock, sweetfish sushi, rolled dried squid, abalone fritter, atsume soup, and "aluheitou," a sweet introduced from Portugal.
The chef's recommendation is the "Reproduced Beef Hotpot." This is a sukiyaki dish made with plenty of beef and vegetables simmered in Hatcho miso, which became popular during the Taisho period and has been reproduced based on records from that time.
The area around the hotel is also known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and in spring, the view of the cherry blossoms from the terrace outside the lobby will brighten your spirit. The view of the Nagara River from the terrace deck is said to be the best in Gifu. Be sure to take an early morning walk to the green tunnel leading to Mount Kinka. It's the perfect spot for forest bathing.
