The never-ending pleasure of the hot springs at Yudokoro Awara is maximized by Hotel Matuyasensen's large bath, Sen no Koboreyu, said to be one of the largest in the Hokuriku region. The men's bath, Yurakugoto Banman no Yu, is designed to let you enjoy Awara's abundant hot springs to the fullest in a large bath and a variety of open-air baths, including tub baths and reclining baths. The spaciousness of the space invites a particularly open feeling.
The women's bath, "Bisho Nanato Hyaku Hyaku no Yu," is designed to let you enjoy the smooth hot spring water while touring seven fun open-air baths, including the tub bath, jar bath, and jacuzzi bath. For women, there is also a beauty salon and restroom next to the large bath, which uses aroma oils and Balinese herbal medicines.
Being one of the largest in the Hokuriku region does not only refer to its size, but also to the depth of its hot spring hospitality.

Our recommendation is the hideaway-style "Toki Wasure Hasiza" room with an open-air hot spring bath. There are four types of Japanese modern guest rooms, where even a single flower or a cup of tea has been carefully selected. Two of the rooms have been renovated with Japanese-style beds, and furthermore, they have been equipped with Sealy beds, massage machines, and facial steamers, transforming the space into one where every detail has been considered for comfort. The premium accommodation option is the "Hasiza Original Kaiseki" served in a private room at the exclusive dining area "Chiyomikusa." You can savor the finest cuisine made with the highest quality ingredients in a peaceful setting.
Even the slightly luxurious "Sensenkan" has renovated some of its guest rooms to meet the needs of those looking for comfort. The hotel is not shy about customer satisfaction, with special rooms with Japanese-style beds and standard guest rooms that are suitable for workcations now equipped with Sealy beds.
The "Toki Wasure Hasaza" guest room is an exquisite hideaway with an open-air hot spring bath. The Japanese-style bed type, which was renovated in November 2021, is equipped with Sealy beds that have been carefully selected for comfort.
The "workation room" at Sensenkan. It was renovated in 2021 along with the "special room with open-air bath" and "special room."
For dinner, enjoy a meal prepared by the head chef using carefully selected ingredients, including seafood caught in nearby ports and mountain produce nurtured by the climate of Echizen Wakasa. The freshness and deliciousness of the winter Echizen crab goes without saying. There is also a wide variety of local ingredients, including Wakasa beef. At the restaurant "Shun Dining Sen no Sachi," which has a tasteful interior and lighting, freshly prepared food is delivered from the open kitchen. The food pairs perfectly with the local sake and wine sourced from 13 carefully selected breweries. The smiling staff will treat you with the utmost care. Breakfast is a Japanese breakfast, which you can enjoy with a slightly more luxurious feeling than usual.
You can enjoy a variety of dishes that make generous use of local ingredients such as fresh seafood from Echizen Wakasa and Wakasa beef.
