An impressive inn where you can fully enjoy Mt. Fuji, with rooms such as "Bessho Sasa" that face Mt. Fuji and a large public bath that overlooks the mountain all the way to its base.
Kaneyamaen stands alongside Mt. Fuji, and the mountain is depicted throughout the hotel. The special floors on the 4th and 5th floors, called "Bessho Sasa," are the best seats facing Mt. Fuji. There are three types of rooms with open-air baths for couples, families, and groups. The views from the deck terrace with open-air bath and the living room are more amazing than anything else, allowing you to enjoy your very own view of Mt. Fuji.
The room is equipped with an elegant dining area, so you can enjoy your meal without being disturbed by anyone. In addition, the room is equipped with Simmons beds and sofas, which boast the highest level of comfort, mineral water from the famous waters of Mt. Fuji, a Nespresso machine, and amenities exclusively for the room. You can also choose from a selection of indoor attire, such as work clothes, pajamas, and bathrobes. The room comfort is carefully designed.
What's more, guests can enjoy a limited-time serving of Koshu sparkling wine and coffee in a private lounge. Enjoy the deep tranquility of the guest rooms, and experience the glamor that colors your trip in the lounge. Move between the two types of luxury at will... This is a new style of travel proposed by Kaneyamaen.
The Sanri Comfort room at Seseragitei Sanri, which opened in May 2019, is also a room that evokes Mount Fuji. The 48-square-meter relaxing space features an open-air hot spring bath overlooking Mount Fuji, a bedroom equipped with a Simmons bed, and a living room equipped with a number of comfortable features. Comfort is embodied in the space and furnishings, including a daybed by the window that provides a special seat for admiring the view, different-colored LED lights in the guest room's washstand that provide a brightness that makes it easy to apply makeup, and pajamas, work clothes, and linens made by Kai silk artisans. The Sanri Suite, which is over 80 square meters, is scheduled to be unveiled in the summer of 2024.
"Sanri Comfort" The bedroom is equipped with a Simmons bed and a soft-to-the-touch bedspread made by Kai Silk artisans, ensuring the ultimate sleeping comfort.
The dining areas exclusively for the Sanri guest rooms are the Sansan Dining "Sakuya" with an open kitchen, and the private dining "Konohana" scheduled to open in the summer of 2024. A variety of seasonal delicacies will be served. Both the taste and the space are imbued with Kaneyamaen's spirit of hospitality and creativity.
The club lounge in the "Sanri" guest rooms offers a variety of drinks and sweets made with plenty of locally produced ingredients, as well as magazines and travel catalogs themed around Mt. Fuji.
The baths at Kaneyamaen are filled with a highly alkaline spring with a pH of 10.3 that springs up at the foot of Mount Fuji, known for its many famous springs. This hot spring restores the body's health balance and returns people to their natural state. The "Open-Air Bath Mt. Fuji" allows you to enjoy the blessings of the earth along with the magnificent view that stretches all the way to the foot of Mount Fuji. There are three tiers of baths, one 90cm deep, one knee-deep, and one reclining bath, and in the top reclining bath you can lie down in the comfortable water and relax while looking at Mount Fuji. This is the true pleasure of the baths that can only be enjoyed by guests staying at Kaneyamaen. Bathing suits are also provided for those who wish. The bathhouse also has the "Red Fuji" large bath, which features a large bath and open-air bath with a view of the sacred Mount Fuji, and you can enjoy waterfall baths, reclining baths, bubble baths, and saunas.
It's called "Open-Air Bath Mt. Fuji." It's a large open-air bath that the hotel is proud of. While lying down in the bath, you can see Mt. Fuji stretching out all the way to its base. You can also soak in the comfortable waters of the hot spring, which is full of alkaline ingredients.
The "Red Fuji" large bath features a spacious indoor bath and an open-air bath with views of Mt. Fuji.
Enjoy the delicious cuisine that only a hotel certified as a "5-star restaurant" can provide at our four elaborate restaurants.
Kaneyamaen has been certified as a "5-star restaurant with safe and secure food" by the Japan Food Hygiene Association. In its high-end dining space, including the Sansan Dining "Sakuya," the restaurant offers distinctive dishes made with an abundance of carefully selected ingredients, with a focus on food safety and security.
At Sansan Dining Sakuya, the restaurant serves Japanese cuisine that takes full advantage of the local flavors of the area around Mount Fuji, painstakingly preparing the ingredients and presenting them beautifully and elegantly, with hospitality and attention to detail.
The open kitchen dining "Shikisai Dining Bichu" serves seasonal kaiseki meals using seasonal ingredients from the mountains and sea. At the "Private Room Restaurant" where you can enjoy a relaxed Japanese atmosphere, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine incorporating a sense of the season, carefully prepared by the chef. At "Shunsai Dining Yumejumi" which also has an open kitchen, you can enjoy a specially selected Japanese kaiseki meal. You can also order sukiyaki made with Yamanashi's famous black wagyu beef "Koshu beef" and "momiji eggs", a specialty of Tanabe Eggs in Oshino Village. The sounds, aromas, and dynamic energy of the lively chefs can be felt with all five senses in the open kitchen, private rooms, and dining room filled with laughter, and the charms of each space combine to elegantly create a once-in-a-lifetime gourmet experience.
Breakfast is also a safe and secure buffet. Recommended items include the omelet made with "Momiji eggs" and the chef's handmade Meisui tofu, which is made from domestic Ryuho soybeans and soy milk made with natural spring water from Mt. Fuji, sourced from a tofu store that has been in business for over 100 years, and is made by adding natural bittern. The rice is also made from Nashikita rice grown in the pure waters of the Southern Alps, and cooked in the underground water from Mt. Fuji that springs on the premises, with a focus on food safety and deliciousness. If you have room in your stomach, we recommend trying a comparison of Oshino soba and Koshu hoto. The many dishes that give you a taste of the local Yamanashi culture are a form of hospitality that is unique to Kaneyamaen.
Along with the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, Kaneyamaen's Japanese garden is another attraction. The 8,000-square-meter garden is decorated with colorful botanical scrolls representing the four seasons of the year, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Winter is the time of year when Mt. Fuji can be seen at its most beautiful. If you go out to the garden early in the morning, you'll see fresh snow sparkling on the pine needles and Mt. Fuji bathed in the morning light through the branches. It's so beautiful you'll be left speechless. You can also enjoy a hot spring foot bath while strolling through the garden. At the garden teahouse, Seiryuan, complimentary matcha tea and Japanese sweets are served every day from 1:30pm to 6pm. This is truly an inn for enjoying Mt. Fuji to the fullest.
