Breakfast is also a safe and secure buffet. Recommended items include the omelet made with "Momiji eggs" and the chef's handmade Meisui tofu, which is made from domestic Ryuho soybeans and soy milk made with natural spring water from Mt. Fuji, sourced from a tofu store that has been in business for over 100 years, and is made by adding natural bittern. The rice is also made from Nashikita rice grown in the pure waters of the Southern Alps, and cooked in the underground water from Mt. Fuji that springs on the premises, with a focus on food safety and deliciousness. If you have room in your stomach, we recommend trying a comparison of Oshino soba and Koshu hoto. The many dishes that give you a taste of the local Yamanashi culture are a form of hospitality that is unique to Kaneyamaen.

Along with the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, Kaneyamaen's Japanese garden is another attraction. The 8,000-square-meter garden is decorated with colorful botanical scrolls representing the four seasons of the year, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Winter is the time of year when Mt. Fuji can be seen at its most beautiful. If you go out to the garden early in the morning, you'll see fresh snow sparkling on the pine needles and Mt. Fuji bathed in the morning light through the branches. It's so beautiful you'll be left speechless. You can also enjoy a hot spring foot bath while strolling through the garden. At the garden teahouse, Seiryuan, complimentary matcha tea and Japanese sweets are served every day from 1:30pm to 6pm. This is truly an inn for enjoying Mt. Fuji to the fullest.
