Hotel Isobe Garden is widely known as the inn where the fairy tale "The Tale of the Shitakirisuzume no Oyado Sparrow" was born. In the Treasure Hall, there is a book on display in which Iwaya Konami, a pioneer of Japanese children's literature, wrote "The bamboo spring, the sparrows age for a thousand years, the inn," and wrote that this place is the birthplace of the legend. Every night, at the Cybot Theater in the lobby, the grandfather and the sparrows, Cybot, tell the story of the Shitakirisuzume no Oyado and give a tour of the hotel. It's a delight for families with children.
"Ochuun" is an original character of Shitakirisuzume no Oyado. There is also an "Ochuun Shop" online.
Since ancient times, the hot spring has healed travelers and visitors coming and going from Usui Pass as a sacred spring with a gastrointestinal effect. It is a chloride bicarbonate spring also known as a hot spring for beautiful skin and a hot spring for curing colds. There are many spacious baths for men and women where you can fully enjoy the effects of this hot spring.
On the first floor, Rakusui-no-Yu has an indoor bath as well as an open-air bath called the Shitakirisuzume no Oyado Sparrow's Bathing Large Bath, which features a rock bath, a barrel bath, a garden bath, and more. This is an inn that will let you enjoy the charms of hot springs to the fullest.

The courtyard is a famous garden created by a master who has worked on the gardens of Todaiji Temple, Tenryu-ji Temple, Tofukuji Temple, and other temples, and was designed so that it can be viewed from all directions. The souvenir shop is lined with original goods, including the famous Isobe Senbei rice crackers made from the hot spring water. There are also many public facilities, meeting the needs of a wide range of companies and groups.
