Hotel Futaba is located on a hill in Satoyama, about a 10-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station. You can look forward to the three large baths, "Sora no Yu," "Yama no Yu," and "Sato no Yu." There are more than enough baths to make your hot spring trip a success. On the top 7th floor is the large observation bath "Sora no Yu." At the open-air bath "Paparaku," you feel so close to nature that you can reach out and touch it. From the open-air bath at "Mamaraku," you can see an overwhelming panorama of Yuzawa, and even see as far as Mt. Tanigawa in the distance. The expanse of the sky and the scale of the sea of clouds that you can look up to are breathtaking.

The entire sixth floor is a bathhouse where you can enjoy "Mountain Bath" and "Village Bath" on a rotating basis. "Mountain Bath" has 10 baths, including an open-air bath, a cave bath, an unusual steam bath, and a ceramic bath. "Village Bath" has 11 baths, including a hugging stone, steamed manju, and a bakuhan stone seat. Touring the baths with their fun designs and names will create fond memories for the family.

Enjoy Echigo textile themed rooms and mansion style rooms, and enjoy the many fresh and bountiful blessings of Echigo.

The hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere with a modern design and traditional textiles from Echigo, such as Ojiya Chijimi and Echigo Jofu, which are designated as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Properties. Of the 29 guest rooms with seven types, including an open-air bath, the three "Textile Theme Rooms" are particularly conceptual. The interior decoration theme is Ojiya Chijimi, Shiozawa Tsumugi, which has adopted the techniques of Echigo Jofu, and Tokamachi Kasuri, a delicate pattern that freely uses vertical and horizontal ikat. The texture is matched with modern decorations and indirect lighting to create a unique atmosphere. What makes it hard to believe that this is an inn are the three mansions, "Hana Mizuki," named after "Flower, Water, and Tree" on each floor. All are barrier-free and spacious, measuring 150 m2. You can enjoy the view of the Satoyama nature from the living room, which is fully enclosed with glass. The detailed design philosophy is also evident in the different bedroom decorations and guest room baths of the three mansions.
