The Kazura Bridge is the only bridge on Honshu that connects people to each other and people to nature, creating a place of happiness.
A journey back to the home of the heart, spanning more than 350 years of time and space.
The unexpected voice of "Please come in!" and the sound of welcoming drums. In the lobby, there are an object carved from a 1,300-year-old Chinese quince tree, a large pillar that is 500 years old, a carp hanging from a hook carved in one stroke of the sword from the Edo period, an 800-year-old wisteria saddle, armor, and many other relics of the Heike clan that are the oldest in Yunishigawa. The hospitality that transcends time and space makes your heart stop in its tracks.
Honke Bankyu for over 350 years since its founding in the early Edo period. The Kazurabashi Bridge, a Heike tradition, is imbued with the inn's deep desire to be a bridge that connects people's hearts and good relationships, and a bridge that connects people with peaceful nature. It was the bridge that the descendants of both families crossed together during the Genpei Peace Ceremony, which took place here 800 years ago, and served as a "bridge." The time spent up close and personal with the nature of Yunishigawa, which is steeped in history, and enjoying dinner around a fire under the light of a lamp, are experiences that are completely different from modern life. It is an emotional time immersed in the tranquility of the original.
The only "Kazurabashi" bridge in Honshu. It was originally built to be cut down and used by the Genji to escape from their pursuers.

The hot spring originated in Yunishigawa and was discovered over 820 years ago. It has been popular since ancient times as a skin-beautifying water containing metasilicic acid. It is also a famous spring that is said to grant wishes for children. You can enjoy this famous spring water directly from the source in the granite indoor bath, the open-air bath where you can almost reach the river, and the wide variety of open-air baths in the guest rooms.
For dinner, cross the Kazura Bridge and head to the round-wooden Heike Hidden House. Under the light of the lamps, a fire will light in the hearth and a nostalgic feast will begin. Enjoy creative kaiseki cuisine full of the flavors of the mountains and rivers, as well as the famous hearth-grilled delicacies, all while sipping bamboo sake and cloudy sake. The Isshobera, served with Miyama Sansho pepper and roasted miso, is fragrant and absolutely delicious. For breakfast, enjoy a creative Japanese meal rich in the bounty of nature. Relax and replenish your energy while listening to the murmuring of the stream. The seasonal displays, such as the traditional Heike zashiki-bina (Japanese-style doll display) and the illumination of the ice waterfall in the harsh winter, are also fascinating. The journey to this hidden village is a journey that transcends 800 years and takes you back to your spiritual home. It is sure to be a journey that will deepen your bonds with people and nature.
