For travelers, "a wide variety of options" is attractive because they can create a trip to suit their tastes. Grandia Hosen offers extraordinary pleasures, from the rooms to the cuisine to the hot springs. There are six categories of rooms to choose from. If you prefer an elegant and luxurious suite, try Bettei Kotobuki-tei, which comes with an open-air hot spring bath. There are 16 rooms in five types, including the royal suite, which is the pinnacle of luxury. If you prefer a stylish and Japanese-modern atmosphere, try Hanare Yutorogitei, which comes with an open-air hot spring bath in the garden. There are 14 rooms in total, including deluxe and standard. Both suites have different layouts, and staff are not allowed to enter the rooms, allowing for a private stay. This is unique to this inn, which was a pioneer in the idea of having an open-air hot spring bath in a guest room. The level of relaxation is different.
Guests can enjoy colorfully presented, lively, and supreme cuisine at the restaurant "Yuzen," where an award-winning executive chef and Japanese chefs from the Skill Grand Prix Japanese Cuisine division show off their skills. The "Hanare Kokomichi-tei," which offers free alcohol in the private lounge, and the "Sakura SUITE," a deluxe room and premium room with a semi-open-air bath that opened in 2023, are attracting a wide range of guests with their space that meets the trends of the times and stay-oriented facilities such as 4K smart TVs. Spacious space and a wonderful view are also options.
"Sakuratei SUITE" will have its grand opening in March 2023. The photo shows the "Deluxe" (6 rooms) with a sunset view. It features twin beds, a tatami living room, and a semi-open-air bath.
There are five "Premium (Garden View)" rooms in the "Sakuratei SUITE." The 70-80 m2 space includes a twin or two twin rooms, a tatami living room, a living room, and a semi-open-air bath.
Guests staying at Kotobuki-tei, Yutorogitei, and Kokomichi-tei are provided with a fragrant "cypress large bath," but the "Heavenly SPA" on the fifth floor is sure to catch your eye. It is an especially elegant and refreshing zone. Guests can take turns bathing in the "Tsuki-no-Yu" baths, which feature a large bath, cypress bath, reclining bath, shower, and sauna, and the "Hoshi-no-Yu" baths, which are similar to the "Tsuki-no-Yu" baths but also feature a Awanoyu and an open-air bath. You'll also be sure to find the view of the countryside and expansive sky from the open-air shelf bath and open-air bath soothing.
Guests can choose from four gourmet dining options depending on the room they choose. The Japanese-style main dining room, which is approximately 550 square meters and has an open kitchen, offers an exquisite dinner buffet for adults, prepared by the executive chef who oversees JAL's first-class in-flight meals. The dining room "Fukuraku," which opened in 2022, offers an A5-grade Wakasa beef shabu-shabu kaiseki course meal and free drinks "self-pairing." The modern private room restaurant "Yuzen" offers a monthly changing Yuzen kaiseki course meal. Guests staying at Bettei Kotobuki-tei can enjoy Kotobuki-tei kaiseki in the Japanese-style private room restaurant that opened in November 2023. The freshly prepared dishes brought from the private kitchen are truly exquisite. Guests staying on the first floor of Kotobuki-tei can also choose to dine in their rooms.
A private restaurant exclusively for Bettei Kotobuki-tei, opened in November 2023.
