"The real thing from Toyama." This is the hospitality that is summed up in the phrase. Enjoy the spectacular view of Kurobe Gorge from a room with an open-air hot spring bath, "Stone, Ceramic, Cypress."

Enraku is an inn overlooking the majestic Kurobe Gorge. The new guest room "Ishi" with an open-air bath is located in Taihokaku, the closest to the gorge and with the best view. The bath is made of Towada stone, which has a soft texture and is excellent at moisturizing and retaining heat. The pale blue and green colors are beautiful, and you will notice that Unazuki Onsen is a hot spring with high transparency. The bathroom is equipped with easter curtains that can be opened and closed freely, so you can bathe while enjoying the nature of the gorge or take a bath to protect yourself from the cold. It is truly luxurious to be able to relax and enjoy your own time. The guest rooms available are Japanese-Western style rooms with Simmons beds and Japanese-style rooms with Tempur mattresses. In addition, the guest room "To" with an open-air bath with a bath of warm earth can be enjoyed at Taihokaku and the main building. The main building also has a guest room "Hinoki" with an open-air bath with a refreshing cypress scent.

Enraku outdoor bath "Stone"

"Stone" is a new guest room with an open-air bath that has been built at Taihokaku, located near the Kurobe Gorge.

I have never chosen a room based on the taste of the bathtub, but I think Enraku has done that. All rooms at Enraku have a canyon view. There are a variety of other rooms to choose from.
The 400-year-old cypress open-air bath "Hana no Yu" takes visitors to the height of ecstasy. The view of the gorge is the height of beauty. The view is carefully calculated so that the scenery on the opposite bank of the gorge is reflected like a mirror in the bath, framed by the cypress. It is said that using cypress to express the beauty of straight lines is a masterful technique. The fresh greenery and autumn leaves rippling on the surface of the bath, and the fantastic scenery during the snowy season are like looking at a painting. The open-air bath "Kotone no Yu" offers a rock open-air bath inspired by the flow of the Kurobe River, and a cypress open-air bath with the atmosphere of earthen walls. Listening to the echoes of the gorge, you will enjoy a truly enjoyable bath time. During the snowy season, the atmosphere is soothing, like a sumi-e painting.

We highly recommend the high-grade "Elegant Meal" plan, where you can enjoy your meal on special tableware selected by the owner. No menu is prepared as the menu is based on the best ingredients of the day. The tableware enhances the deliciousness of the dishes, which are made with original ingenuity and ingenuity while adhering to the traditions of Japanese cuisine, and are also delicate and beautiful to look at. It is truly exquisite. Other delicacies available include the "White Shrimp Meal," which features white shrimp caught only in Toyama Bay, served in a variety of arrangements. If you are pairing your meal with something, we recommend Takaoka's legendary sake "Katsukoma." Drinking it on "Nosaku" tin tableware will make for an all-Toyama feast.

Enraku Enraku deep ties with many artists, including Japan's leading Western-style painter Nakagawa Issei and leading Japanese painter Hirayama Ikuo. At the cultural salon "Seikei," you can appreciate works by famous artists and a collection of sword tsuba while drinking coffee made with famous water from the Northern Alps. In addition, in the VIP room next to the Urasenke "Kyoan" and the teahouse "Shushinan," which is a copy of the original, poems and calligraphy by writers and artists associated with Enraku are on display. Now in its 87th anniversary, Enraku is evolving even more. Every piece feels "authentic" to the touch.
