With the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Kanazawa and Tsuruga and the decision to make the "Kagayaki" (express train) a stop there, Kaga Onsen Station, the nearest station to Yamashiro Onsen, can now be reached from Tokyo in as little as 2 hours and 43 minutes. It is now even closer than before to reach Kaga Onsen Station from Osaka, at just 2 hours and 6 minutes. Yunokuni Tensho is located in Yamashiro Onsen, the most famous Yamashiro Onsen in the Hokuriku region, and is Yunokuni Tensho for its attentive hospitality. It is not difficult to imagine the high expectations that tourists have of the hotel.

The attraction is, of course, the hot springs. The two natural hot springs, the "private hot spring" that opened up the inn and the "drawn hot spring" that has nurtured the inn's history, provide the enjoyment of indulging in hot springs to the fullest, second to none in Yamashiro Onsen. The large baths are the "Yugen no Yuden" with its unique and diverse baths in a fantastical setting, the "Takimi no Yuya" with its untouched Japanese scenery of a waterfall flowing from a large rock, and the "Kutani no Yudokoro" decorated with the "five colors" of Kutani ware, a traditional Kaga craft. The open-air baths in each bath are also elaborately designed, with a tub bath, a stone bath, a Goemon bath, and a jar bath. The large baths are all alternated between men and women at different times, so if you visit them all, you can "visit 18 baths in 1 night, 3 baths in 18 baths."

The hotel's own hot spring is a sodium-calcium sulfate-chloride spring (therapeutic spring), and is characterized by its moisturizing quality like skin lotion. It is a skin-beautifying water with excellent moisturizing and cleansing effects. The highly alkaline pH of 8.3 to 8.4 dissolves dead skin cells and leaves skin smooth. This is a very satisfying bathing experience that can only be found at an inn with an abundant supply of fresh natural hot spring water. The sauna, which has recently become popular, has been renovated to include a cold bath, much to the delight of many fans.
