Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko from the high-end guest rooms and infinity open-air baths.
A one-of-a-kind luxury resort.

When you open the entrance door, which is stamped with a mark that brings happiness, you will find yourself in an exotic space. All rooms offer a view of Mt. Fuji, whose expression changes every moment in the sunlight, and Lake Kawaguchi with its rippling waves. It is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless. The beautiful scenery presented by KUKUNA, the special seat with the best view, can only be described as magnificent.

The recently renovated observation deck paints a resort scene that is second to none in the area. The Superior Terrace Room and Corner Terrace Room are filled with the brightness and openness of a terrace, and feature a high-end water terrace with an open-air hot spring bath on the lake side, a foot bath, and a reclining bath, offering the best angle of Mt. Fuji, making for a stay that lives up to the name of the hotel, a place where you can feel the ray of hope. The top floor "Ozora no Yu" has two infinity open-air baths, "Moon" and "Star," where the lake and the bath surface join together. It is a truly thoughtful design that skillfully incorporates the spectacular view.

The Central Building's "Zaishu" and "Za-Western Rooms" offer a Japanese-style resort with beautiful scenery, while the Plaza Building's "Executive Large Zaishu" Western Rooms and the 100m2 Super Suite VIP Room are just like those found in overseas resorts. These unique guest rooms are unique to KUKUNA, which continues to pursue the creation of one-of-a-kind resorts. They respond to the growing demand for high-end options.

Choose from 4 varieties of gourmet food, including food experiences unique to Kai Province

KUKUNA has evolved into a gourmet inn. There are four types of food: teppanyaki at "GEKKO Gekko", Western-style creative cuisine at the open terrace restaurant "MOONBOW", creative cuisine at "Niji no Rakuen", and Edomae sushi and specialty Japanese cuisine at "Sushi Restaurant Tsukiyo no Niji". All of them impress gourmets with their exquisite resort menus. The sizzling presentation of the food being cooked right in front of you will whet your appetite. The staff are also wonderful, treating you to meticulous hospitality.

KUKUNA Cuisine A variety of creative dishes that pair well with wine.

KUKUNA Restaurant

"GEKKO Gekko" is a teppanyaki style restaurant.

KUKUNA Restaurant

"Sushidokoro Tsukiyo no Niji" is a place where you can enjoy Edomae-style sushi.

KUKUNA Wine

"KUKUNA Original Wine" served at the restaurant.

A new challenge in the food industry is the marriage of Yamanashi ingredients with Yamanashi wine, which is popular worldwide. Using grapes grown locally in Katsunuma, the pairing with private brand wine brewed at the directly managed winery is an endeavor that only KUKUNA can undertake. I would like to visit with excitement. KUKUNA's aesthetic sense always looks beyond comfort.

KUKUNA vineyards

KUKUNA also produces wine using grapes grown on its own premises.

KUKUNA Winery

Barrel aged at our own winery.
