An extraordinary, long-established inn that offers a new style of travel.
Please enjoy the two hot springs, "Shiosai no Yu" and "Nagisa no Yu," in our impressive baths.
Facing the Pacific Ocean, Kamogawakan is revolutionizing the enjoyment of travel with its hot springs, guest rooms, and cuisine.
At Kamogawakan, you can enjoy two different springs with different qualities: "Shiosai no Yu," a privately owned spring with a refreshing salty quality that springs up from the seaside, and "Nagisa no Yu," a new Satoyama spring with skin-beautifying qualities. Each spring has its own attractive bath, offering an exciting time of refreshment.
The large baths at Shiosai-no-Yu, which are alternate gender-exclusive, Tokiwa-no-Yu and Migiwa-no-Yu, were reopened on March 8, 2024. Tokiwa-no-Yu is a bathing space where you can enjoy a comfortable bath with the pine groves of Awa as a backdrop. The open-air bath has been renovated into a seasonal bath called Awa-buro, where local seasonal ingredients float, and offers a new and impressive bathing experience along with the open-air waterfall bath, reclining bath, and box steam bath. After enjoying the far-infrared sauna, you can enjoy a cold bath or an outdoor bath in the sea breeze. Shiosai-no-Yu contains salt, which warms the body from the inside out. A new "cooling area" has also been installed where you can take a break when you're sweating or after a bath.
"Migiwa-no-Yu" has been transformed into a bright space decorated with resin art that evokes the seaside. While enjoying the "Shiosai-no-Yu", you can look at 17 pieces of art by artist Yuji Hamamura. The different "places", "times" and "depths" of the sea are expressed, making you feel as if you are on the beach or melting into the sea of the Kamo River. In addition, the carbonated bath that promotes blood circulation with high concentrations of carbon dioxide and the open-air bath that resembles a barrel have also been renovated, and when enjoyed together with the three indoor baths with different temperatures and the steam sauna, it is also ideal for maintaining your health. "Tokiwa-no-Yu" and "Migiwa-no-Yu" have 12 baths, including the private hot spring family bath "Madoka-no-Yu", so you can enjoy bathing as you like as long as time allows.
Infinity mixed-bathing hot spring Puroya has changed the concept of food at the inn by separating lodging and meals
As soon as you arrive, head to the rooftop. There you will find the infinity mixed-gender hot spring pool "HARUKA", filled with the new "Nagisa no Yu" hot spring. It is a great location with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean as far as the eye can see. If you immerse yourself in the water up to your shoulders, the surface of the water will merge with the Pacific Ocean, and you can enjoy a dynamic and mysterious floating sensation. It is an experience that can only be had here. The scene as the sea sparkles in the sunlight and gradually darkens is truly dramatic. Special bathing suits are available, so it is very popular with couples and families. It is a popular hot spring with a spectacular view that everyone can enjoy. Women also appreciate the spring water, which leaves their skin smooth after bathing.
Nagisa no Yu is also revolutionizing the way people spend time in their guest rooms. The 20 Japanese-Western style rooms with semi-open-air hot spring baths on the 5th to 8th floors are luxurious, modern spaces equipped with Simmons beds and a wide range of highly-equipped facilities and services. The hot spring water can be filled with water at the flick of a switch, so you can enjoy the hot spring to your heart's content while having the majestic ocean all to yourself. In March 2023, a "Special Fuku Room" will be available on the top floor, where you can fully enjoy the "Fukugokochi" experience. The corner rooms offer a spectacular view with windows surrounding the room all the way. The rooms are equipped with a semi-open-air hot spring bath where you can soak in the infinity view that stretches to the horizon, a steam sauna, a canopy daybed, and Simmons beds. This premium space is unique to this one-of-a-kind room.

On June 22, 2024, the "Japanese-Western Room with Indoor Terrace" and "Japanese-Western Room Plus with Indoor Terrace" will be reopened on the 4th floor. The rooms feature an indoor terrace with a large window from which you can view the pine trees along the coast, which are vibrantly green all year round, as if you were on an outdoor terrace. The rooms are equipped with Simmons beds, as well as a 100-inch screen and projector to create the feeling of being at your own movie theater, and a portable TV. You can also enjoy the "Oju Kaiseki" in-room meal, which is filled with the seasonal ingredients of Minami Boso.
A new guest room, the Japanese-Western room with indoor terrace, offers a view of the green pine trees from a large window.
The "separate lodging and meals" system introduced at "Itamae Live Dining MAIWAI" has revolutionized the concept of dining.
For example, even if you choose a one-night stay with breakfast plan, you can enjoy dinner without making a reservation and freely order from a course menu of teppanyaki, sushi, tempura, and other dishes cooked right in front of you, or from a full-fledged ala carte menu. It's a guest-centered system.
At the private room restaurant "Yoshidaya," you can enjoy Japanese kaiseki cuisine prepared with the skilled techniques and heartfelt dedication of the chef. The seafood from Minamiboso is plentiful, and the freshly prepared dishes from the open kitchen are exceptional. For breakfast, you can choose from a buffet featuring local dishes and a Japanese-Western fusion, or choose room service.
The hotel will also open a terrace living area for adults called "Fukou" in 2023, where you can enjoy the greenery of the pine trees, the sea breeze, and the sunlight. You can enjoy carefully selected craft beer, local sake from Chiba, limited edition vegetable broth soup, and more as a free-flow fixed-price option. A paradise accessible by a two-hour drive from Tokyo. Even a single night will revitalize your mind and body.
The newly introduced terrace living room is called "Kahikaru."
