Soft and warm like chintz, and Kaiketuruya... Kaike Tsuruya is an inn with gentle hospitality. Relax with a view of Mt. Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku region, and the VIP rooms "Shoukaku" and "Zuikaku" on the 8th floor of the East Wing, which are equipped with open-air baths, are particularly popular as purely Japanese-style spaces overlooking "Hoki Fuji" Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan. The comfort Japanese-Western room on the 6th floor of the South Wing was renovated and reopened in November 2023. The 48m2 corner room "Yumezuru" overlooks the Sea of Japan in the distance. The other room is a compact "Comfort Room with Bed". Both rooms have stylish interiors and Japanese-style rooms with Ryukyu tatami mats and twin beds that can be used in Hollywood style, creating a comfortable and relaxing Japanese modern atmosphere. Comfort is impeccable, including the comfort room "Yuzuru", which was opened earlier.
The large public bath bathed in sunlight and the open-air bath where you can feel the seasonal breeze create a relaxing bath experience. The skin-beautifying water, which is full of marine minerals that bubble up from the sea, has excellent moisturizing effects. The more you soak in it, the more moisturized your skin becomes and the warmer your body becomes from the inside out. We highly recommend the private baths "Sarasa no Yu" and "Nagomi no Yu," which opened in 2022 and are directly fed by the hot spring. You can enjoy a private moment in the spacious stone bath. There is also a deck outside where you can enjoy the breeze.

For dinner, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal filled with the bounty of Sanin, including fresh fish delivered directly from Sakaiminato, local vegetables grown at the foot of Mt. Daisen, Tottori Wagyu beef, and carefully selected seasonal ingredients. There are a variety of dining locations depending on the plan. You can enjoy your meal in your room, in a private room at a traditional Japanese restaurant, or in a banquet hall overlooking Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan. We also recommend the small, delicious courses that prioritize quality over quantity, such as the Shiki Kaiseki and Sakaiminato Red Snow Crab.
The seafood landed in Sakaiminato every day is kept as fresh as possible.
On the first floor is the teppanyaki specialty restaurant "Steak House Ran", which was upgraded in 2023. Various courses are available, including high-quality Sanin Wagyu beef cooked right in front of you, fresh seafood, carefully selected vegetables, and desserts. Breakfast is a typical Japanese inn breakfast. The prefecture's Koshihikari rice, exquisite overnight dried flounder, and miso soup with clams from Lake Shinji are sure to get you going.

Steak House Ran is one of the few teppanyaki restaurants in Yonago City. You can enjoy luxurious dinner courses and lunches by reservation.
The "Tsukuyomi Garden" is a place to relax inside the building. At night, it is lit up with LEDs, captivating the viewer with its mystical and fantastical scenery. Another pleasure of Kaike Onsen is being able to see the sun setting over the Sea of Japan and Mt. Daisen rising in the early morning light.
