Kagaya's hospitality is based on the idea that "room attendants are customers," and is based on the idea that each and every guest is given their own heart and soul.
Experience the spirit of the inn while enjoying all that Noto has to offer in a luxurious space.
Nanao Bay, with its narrow entrance and little impact from wind waves, sometimes creates a fantastical scene. If you want a peaceful stay at Kagaya, a sea-facing room overlooking the calm Nanao Bay is the best choice. Kagaya is made up of four buildings: Setsugekka, Noto Nagisatei, Noto Kyakuden, and Noto Honjin. Setsugekka is located in the center, and is home to the wonderful guest rooms that Kagaya is proud of. Floors 15 to 17 are specially selected floors. These are high-quality spaces with window-side dining tables where you can enjoy the local cuisine of Noto and Kaga to your heart's content. If you choose a sea-facing room, the panoramic view of the rippling waves of the bay will create a relaxing atmosphere for your gourmet meal.
The view from the windows is even more amazing from Hama-rikyu, the special floors reserved for distinguished guests on the 18th to 20th floors. The view is truly spectacular, and it has been dubbed the "Floating Boat Palace on the Sea." Nanao Bay, including Noto Island, opens up below. Standing by the window, you will feel as if you are floating on the sea. The interior is dignified, with furnishings unique to Kagaya, where all rooms are purely Japanese-style. The decor expresses the four seasons with casually placed flowers and hanging scrolls, and the furnishings are a collection of the finest traditional crafts and art...it is truly a sight to behold.
The 18th and 19th floors are the VIP rooms. On the top floor, the 20th floor, are the luxurious reception rooms "Tenyu" and "Hakuin", where the Emperor and Empress have stayed, offering exceptionally elegant spaces with magnificent views. Guests staying at Hama-rikyu can enjoy fine dining in the private dining room "Saryo", as well as a premium private sky lounge "Setsugetsuka Club" overlooking the light and rippling waves of Nanao Bay, and are treated to every pampering. Hama-rikyu is a private space that can only be entered with a special card. Think of it as a villa floating on the sea.
Enjoying the Wakura hot springs, which have bubbled up from the sea for 1,200 years, is also a time to be enveloped in the scenic beauty. The men's large bath, Ebisu no Yu, spans three floors, and a dedicated elevator takes you to the open-air baths, sauna, outdoor baths, and drinkable spring water. It is much larger than you can imagine. Let your mind wander to the view of the ocean and the scent of the hot springs through a pane of glass, and let yourself be carried away by the wind and the scent of the sea in the open-air bath by the sea. There is no other word to describe it than bliss.
The ladies' large bath is "Benten no Yu," which features an open-air bath in the sky and an open-air bath, and "Kagami no Yu," which is closest to the sea and has lustrous Italian tiles. You can enjoy the rich hot spring water born from the sea in front of you in different ways.

Nanao Bay's "Maimon Cuisine" and "Nishiki-oji" - everything you encounter is entertainment
Nanao Bay is a natural fish pond. The abundant minerals that flow in from the tides and the Tateyama mountain range nurture plankton, forming a good fishing ground. The port is filled with what the locals call delicious "maimon." At Kagaya, you can enjoy a variety of delicacies, including simmered squid and Noto puffer fish dishes in the spring, abalone, live kuruma prawns, and rock octopus wash in the summer, grilled matsutake mushrooms, earthenware pots, and sake-steamed blackthroat seaperch in the fall, and yellowtail sashimi, the long-awaited crab dishes, and monkfish hotpot in the winter. The menu, which inherits the traditional cuisine of Noto and Kaga, highlights the Japanese cooking techniques that Kagaya has cultivated. Dinner can be enjoyed in the dining area or in your room, depending on the plan. It is also worth noting that a food transport system has been introduced to each building to deliver freshly prepared food, not to disrupt the distribution of food, and to allow room attendants to focus on hospitality without putting a burden on them in terms of transporting food.
Kagaya has a wide variety of fun places to enjoy. There is no end to the fun to be had at night, and it leaves a strong impression of relaxation. If you want to visit famous shops or take a short trip, be sure to visit the 266-square-meter entertainment zone, Nishiki-oji. We also recommend a guided tour to view traditional crafts and art such as a large Wajima-nuri panel of dancing angels, Kaga Yuzen that covers an entire wall, Kutani ware, Wajima-nuri, inlay, and gold leaf.
Guests who come to Kagaya wanting to know "why it is said to be the best in Japan," are truly satisfied with their stay and leave with a smile saying, "I want to come again." The answer to this is "people." It is said that tourism has three things: scenery, products, and people, but it is "people" above all else that are responsible for Kagaya's hospitality. Kagaya has a philosophy that "the voice of the room attendant is the voice of the customer," and with the room attendant at the top, who has personal contact with guests, a combination that flows smoothly throughout the inn has been established.
If you ask a room attendant, they will answer, "Even if there is a customer service manual, it is only the basics," and "The only way to face each and every guest, who has a different heart and face, is with my heart, which is dedicated to that person." With this in mind, room attendants focus all their energy on carefully sensing the state of the guest from casual conversation. They also sense the reason why the guest has come to stay, and use their kindness to create an appropriate atmosphere. They never say "Nothing" or "I can't do it." They treat each guest with their whole heart, saying, "Everything is for the guest." This creates a sense of trust. Even if it is just a one-night stay, the guest's feelings and the host's heart resonate with each other.
Filled with the emotion and gratitude of a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.
When customers depart, we see them off, praying for their safe journey home. The smiles of our customers speak of Kagaya's hospitality. This kind of moment will continue for a long time to come.
◎Due to the effects of the Noto Peninsula earthquake, Kagaya is closed for the time being. Please check the Kagaya official website for future information.
