The "Hyoei Premium" course, which includes a tour of three hot springs and nine baths, and the finest Kobe beef, is highly recommended.
The open-air bath "Ichinoyu" is filled with reddish-brown gold spring water. Arima Onsen is a rare hot spring in the world, containing seven of the nine components designated as therapeutic springs: simple hot spring, carbon dioxide spring, bicarbonate spring, chloride spring, sulfate spring, iron-containing spring, and radioactive spring.

Located on a hill in Arima Onsen, Hyoe Koyokaku, boasting a history of 700 years.
A popular option is the "Three Baths, Nine Baths of Golden Springs Tour," which allows you to enjoy three different types of large baths: the Japanese-style "Ichino-yu," the Roman-style "Nino-yu," and the therapeutic bath-style "Sanno-yu." The names of the large baths were taken from the names of the baths when Arima only had one water outlet, and Hyoe belonged to Nino-yu. It is a nice experience to enjoy Japan's oldest golden spring while thinking about this history. The golden spring, which turns reddish-brown when exposed to air, is a famous historic spring that was also visited and enjoyed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi many times. There are also private baths with gardens available for you to enjoy the golden spring in private.
The rooms are sophisticatedly furnished and offer views unique to the Kansai region, such as the atmospheric streets of the hot spring town and the Rokko mountain range that changes with the seasons. The quality of the rooms is astonishing. On the eighth floor of the East Wing is the only VIP room, Oimatsu. This luxurious 100m2 space, consisting of three rooms, a garden and a semi-open-air golden spring bath, a Japanese-style room, a bedroom, and a private dining room, is perfect for eight people on a three-generation trip. On the top floor of the West Wing are guest rooms with open-air baths, including one special room, while in the North Wing there is a special room with a villa on the top floor, a guest room with a bedroom, and a villa guest room on the upper floors. In addition to these, the North Wing, West Wing, and South Wing have Japanese-Western and Japanese-style rooms. Hyobe's distinctive feature is that it offers a wide variety of plans that combine fine dining with these types of rooms.
A special room with an open-air bath in the West Wing where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent view that stretches out towards Hokusetsu and Tamba.
There are four different dining styles to choose from depending on the occasion of your stay. The seasonal kaiseki course allows you to savour a variety of exquisite dishes in a quiet setting, with in-room dining as is the norm at a Japanese inn. The seasonal kaiseki course includes a dessert buffet, served in the modern Japanese-style building of the Main Dining Room Mokuran, which is filled with the warmth of wood. The charcoal grilled kaiseki course includes charcoal-grilled dishes and a superb hot pot dish made with Hyoe's traditional dashi, served in a private room at the Charcoal Grill & Japanese-Style Dining Ajisai. The Arima Shikisai buffet at Buffet Restaurant Hana no Mai offers a buffet-style meal of around 50 types of traditional kaiseki cuisine, including Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, sashimi, kaiseki side dishes and seasonal desserts. Only a long-established inn can offer such a variety of food. You can also feel the generosity of the inn. Hyoe's thoughtful presentation is truly impressive.
Kobe beef grilled over charcoal until sizzling and aromatic. A charcoal-grilled kaiseki meal with an exquisite hotpot dish made with Hyoe's traditional broth.
Hyoe's cuisine is a multi-course meal that allows you to savor the finest seasonal ingredients, including Kobe beef. They carefully simmer, grill, and cook the food, and even take the time and effort to prepare dishes that are not visible to the naked eye, such as the basic dashi stock and hidden knife preparations, to create dishes that feel special. The dishes, which mainly use seasonal ingredients unique to Arima, Hyogo Prefecture, an area blessed with abundant ingredients, are beautifully colored and have a rich flavor that will truly add a touch of elegance to your trip. The food is delicious enough to satisfy not only regular customers, but also guests of all ages and genders, and even those visiting Arima for the first time.
