A dynamic location dominating the Noroi Peninsula.
The experience of an open-air bath in a natural cave is mystical.
As you board the shuttle boat from Katsuura Port, the enormous Hotel Urashima building approaches. The entire hotel grounds are in full view, dominating the Noroi Peninsula. It is said to be 4.5 times the size of the Tokyo Dome. There are four buildings. The Main Building, which is equipped with a shuttle boat dock, the Nissho Building, and the Nagisa Building are lined up on the seafront, and the Yamagami Building reigns supreme at the top of the mountain, connected to the Main Building by a 154m escalator.
What we're looking for is a hot spring overflowing with rustic charm. The open-air bath at "Bouki-do" is a natural cavern that is 25m wide, 50m deep and 15m high. It is said that the hot springs that overflowed into the cavern, which is 25m wide, 50m deep and 15m high, soothed aristocrats who came to make pilgrimages to Kumano at the end of the Heian period, and the bath was named after Tokugawa Yorimichi of the Kishu domain, who visited when the bath was founded in the Taisho period, and praised it, saying that it was "so comfortable that it makes you forget to go home." Listening to the sound of the waves, feeling the sea breeze on your skin and admiring the natural beauty created by the rough waves is an experience that can only be had here. A mystical experience awaits at the other natural cave bath, "Genbudo."
The sound of the waves and the sea breeze from the Kumano Nada reach "Bouki-do."
The opposite of the natural cave bath is the panoramic suite room at the Yamagamikan.
The Yamagamikan has a "Yomine no Yu" bath exclusively for guests. You can enjoy a bath while watching the sun set over the mountains of Kii and the magnificent view of Katsuura Bay. The Yamagamikan has seven types of guest rooms. The suites with open-air baths overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the corner suites are over 100 m2. The corner suites and the 239 m2 VIP room offer a panoramic view of over 270 degrees. Guests can enjoy a special stay in the exclusive restaurant, where they can enjoy a superb main and side buffet. In addition to a mini-kaiseki meal using seasonal ingredients, you can also enjoy freshly prepared delicacies prepared in the performance kitchen. Of the three seaside buildings, the most memorable ones are Nisshokan, where you can witness the dramatic majestic sunrise over the Pacific Ocean, and Nagisakan, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and night view of Katsuura Bay.
Depending on the plan, dinner is served in two styles: kaiseki cuisine or buffet. Nanki Katsuura is the town with the largest amount of tuna landings in Japan. You can experience the freshness of the kaiseki cuisine, which uses the tuna, seasonal fish, and local vegetables that they are proud of. There is also an all-you-can-eat buffet. I'm looking forward to eating all the tuna landed at Katsuura fishing port.

Nanki Katsuura is the town with the largest catch of tuna in Japan. At the inn, you can enjoy the authentic taste of "raw tuna" that has never been frozen at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
