A luxury resort boasting a 270-degree landscape. The various charms of the port town of Tomonoura are presented in a variety of relaxing scenes.
Located in the nostalgic port town of Tomonoura, Ofutei boasts a 270-degree landscape. On the higher floors, there are luxurious rooms with a view of the Seto Inland Sea and the port town, such as the Setouchi modern Japanese style premium twin, premium corner twin, and premium suite with ocean view jacuzzi. It is a space that goes far beyond the concept of a resort.
The "Premium Lounge" is exclusively available to guests staying in special rooms.
Two suites with a modern Japanese design will be available in 2022. The In-Room Dining Suite features a terrace living room by the widest window of the guest rooms, making it a space for two adults where you can enjoy in-room dining with a view. A dedicated waiter will treat you wholeheartedly until the last dish. The Harborside Suite features a wide 3.5m window overlooking the harbor and a viewing counter, making it an 86m2 space perfect for families and groups. It is the only suite in the building to have four beds. Guests staying in these two rooms will also be given the privilege of being able to enjoy alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, sweets, and more in the Premium Lounge, which offers a magnificent view of the sea. On the third floor, the stylishly appointed Suihanro guest room with an open-air bath offers a resort life that is a step above the rest.
The "In-Room Dining Suite" features the widest windows in the hotel and a terrace living room. There is also a dining corner inside the room where you can enjoy meals in your room.
A variety of restaurants where you can enjoy seasonal Bingo fish. An open-air bath where you can experience the breathtaking view of the Seto Inland Sea.
In the Bingo region, 25 types of fish carefully selected by local fishermen are called "Bingo Fish." At dinner time, the chefs will prepare "the most delicious seafood of the day" from among seven spring species, eight summer species, three autumn species, and seven winter species of Bingo fish. Meat dishes include female Taoshita beef and Hiroshima-bred Wagyu beef "Motonari." Dining options include in-room dining, the semi-private Kairi with a view of the harbor, the modern Setouchi Dining Gen, and the Japanese Dining. At Kairi, the freshly cooked dishes from the open kitchen are exquisite. Tomonoura's specialty sea bream can also be enjoyed in the restaurant's signature tai-meshi and tai-shabu.
The restaurant serves up colorful seasonal fruit and vegetables grown in the warm climate, as well as an abundance of seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. You can enjoy kaiseki cuisine made with carefully selected ingredients and elaborate cooking methods.
For a relaxing soak, head to the rooftop open-air baths "Hoshi no Yu" and "Nami no Yu" with their spectacular views, the private open-air baths "Sanzan" and "Totan," or the large public bath and open-air bath on the third floor with its spectacular sunset scenery. You can fully enjoy the hot springs, which boast one of the highest radium contents in the country, while feeling the starry sky, moonlight, sea breeze, and sunlight. In 2023, the facility will be renovated and reopened with even more comfort. The terrace overlooking the sea creates an elegant time blending with the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. There is also a steam sauna and a newly installed loyly sauna, which is rare among lodgings in Hiroshima Prefecture, providing the ultimate "totoi experience."
