A series of surprises and impressive facilities. The popular buffet and hot springs are all for customer satisfaction.
Hospitality for 130 years. Asaya's concept is based on pride as the most long-established inn in Kinugawa and absolute confidence in customer service. The facilities and services are unprecedented, with the hope that "every guest will return satisfied." Everyone looks up and is amazed at the large atrium space filled with crystal brilliance. It reigns supreme with an overwhelming variety of public facilities. The buildings that house this space are "Shuhokan" and "Hachibankan." A stay full of surprises begins, with excitement as to what to enjoy first.
The highest point in Kinugawa Onsen is the "Kuchu Teien Rotenburo" on the 13th floor of Shuhokan. The bathtub looks like a boat going down the Kinugawa Line, and it catches your eye. The feeling of freedom as you bathe in the hot spring, which is gentle on the skin, while being soothed by the vast expanse of the sky, mountain scenery, and mountain breeze, is truly blissful. If you lie down in the reclining bath, you can almost reach out and touch the starry sky and the moon. This shows how popular it is. Shuhokan also has a large men's and women's bath with a semi-open-air jet bath and sauna, while Hachibankan has a large men's bath with an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a sitting bath, and a large women's bath with a reclining bath, nano-mist sauna, and silky bath, so you can enjoy the feeling of bathing in different baths. A shampoo bar is installed in the large bath. The shower head and the hair dryer in the changing room have been updated to those made by the popular beauty brand "ReFa", and the hotel has also taken great care of its female guests. For skin care after the bath, we recommend the original cosmetics "A3 Premium Series" that contain Asaya's hot springs. The beauty ingredients in the hot springs and plant-derived ingredients will give you firm, moisturized skin. You can purchase it at the shop, so give it a try.
On the second floor of Shuhokan, you can choose from a private bath made of black granite and rock, cypress, or red granite. Place a mallet at the water's outlet to receive good fortune and leave... This bath space was named "Kissho Uchide no Kozuchi no Yu" (Lucky Mallet Bath) after the wish of the bather placing a mallet at the water's outlet, and is very popular with families and couples. On the second floor, there is also a bedrock bath featuring ceramic balls made from sintered hot spring deposits from Tamagawa Onsen in Akita Prefecture, which helps to promote health.
There are 17 types of guest rooms, divided into "Hachibankan," with the theme of "calmness and quality," and "Shuhokan," with the theme of "elegance and relaxation." The attraction is that you can enjoy the hot springs in every guest room bath. Hachibankan, which recreates a good old Japanese hot spring inn, offers VIP rooms with exceptionally luxurious construction and furnishings, including traditional Kanuma Kumiko craftsmanship, as well as open-air baths and baths with views. For a comfortable sleep, the rooms are equipped with Simmons beds and highly soothing charcoal.
The 3rd to 12th floors of Shuhokan, accessible by crystal elevator, feature 13 types of rooms, including elegantly appointed VIP rooms, offering a variety of options to choose from, with a view and a relaxing atmosphere. Among them is the Miyabi Japanese-Western room on the top floor, which is elegantly furnished using Kanuma Kumiko wood and has a panoramic bath, promising a supreme holiday with a view of the Kinugawa Valley while bathing in the hot springs. A premium lounge is also available for guests, shared with VIP rooms in the two buildings and with guests in the Hachibankan building.
The Asaya Buffet, which won the Best Buffet Inn Award, is the ultimate pleasure
The deciding factor for staying at Asaya is the Asaya Buffet, which can be enjoyed to the fullest at Asaya Garden on the 8th floor of Shuhokan. It has become so popular that there is no end to the number of people who visit just for the buffet. With over 100 types of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes neatly lined up, it is hard to choose. The freshly grilled steaks, stone oven pizza, freshly fried tempura and freshly sushi, all cooked live in the open kitchen, are so delicious that people line up to get seconds. The seasonal fruit, salad, sweets and dessert corners are very popular with women and children. The breakfast buffet has about 60 different dishes. The topping omelets and Asaya special wagyu beef curry are very popular.
Asaya's buffet is universally praised by its customers. As the hotel has won the "Buffet Inn Grand Prize" award, the food enjoyment is at its peak. There are about 100 different dishes for dinner and about 60 for breakfast, so you can choose as many as you like.
Restaurant Wisteria on the fourth floor of Shuhokan, which reopened in April 2024, is dedicated to providing a relaxing dinner experience that only a traditional inn can offer. Using ingredients from Nikko, Tochigi and seasonal ingredients, guests can enjoy creative cuisine with a focus on tableware and presentation. Depending on the room plan chosen, a standard "Yamabuki Course" or a luxurious "Fuji Course" is available. The dining space has also been given a completely new atmosphere, creating an elegant atmosphere for spending time with loved ones.
Wisteria is a restaurant with a dignified atmosphere that opened in April 2024 after the renovation of Wasai Kobo.
The extensive facilities within the building are also impressive. For nightlife, there are teahouses and karaoke... At the souvenir street "Asaya," you can buy souvenirs such as Asaya special Wagyu beef curry, buns, sweets, and cosmetics "A3." Those who feel that they can never be satisfied will become repeat customers and return next time with their family or friends. Asaya those expectations with generous facilities and services. The surprising travel time will continue.
