Kutsurogi no Yado Juraku was renovated in 2021 and offers a variety of guest rooms, including those with open-air baths where you can enjoy the hot spring water.
The hot springs have two different sources: "Warming Water" that springs from a 200 million year old stratum, and "Beautiful Skin Water" that springs from a 75,000 year old stratum. In the rustic open-air bath, you can enjoy the two sources in a variety of baths, including a walking bath, a reclining bath, and a cave bath.
A sauna with great sweat-inducing properties is also available.
There is a loyly sauna with walls made from ancient tree fossils (Jurassic wood stone) that creates a high sensation of temperature due to radiant heat, and the women's bath also has a low-temperature steam sauna that can be used as a salt sauna. The Yukyu-Kyasumi Lounge has a deck with a view of the Saraga Mine mountain range, and is a great place to relax in a spacious space.
