Enjoy a relaxing bath at "Yaemon no Yu" at Zao Kokusai Hotel
A milky white bath with a reputation for its skin-beautifying effects
Zao Kokusai Hotel is a hotel with many charms, including magnificent natural scenery such as frost-covered trees and carefully selected cuisine made with seasonal ingredients from Yamagata.
Among the most popular baths among guests are the "Yaemon no Yu" and the three types of private baths. All of them are milky white free-flowing natural hot springs, and are known for their skin-beautifying properties.
Yaemon no Yu: A feeling of openness
Yaemon-no-Yu, which consists of an indoor bath and an open-air bath, offers the ultimate bathing experience, soothing you with the scent of sulfur and the warmth of wood.
The indoor bath has exposed log beams and a maximum ceiling height of 6.5 meters, giving it a sense of openness. The stone open-air bath has two bathtubs with different temperatures, so you'll want to enjoy both.
There are three types of private baths: cypress, granite, and barrier-free. The barrier-free baths are easy for wheelchair users to use.
