Relax in the blessings of water at Miorine no Yado Sansuiso
Hospitality with the blessings of water
Sansuisou , a Miorine no Yado Sansuiso located in Tsuchiyu Onsen , nestled in the heart of Mount Azuma in Fukushima Prefecture, is a charming inn that offers hospitality that makes use of the blessings of water, as its name suggests, expressing the desire for guests to "enjoy the fantastic sounds of water."
Enjoy the famous water that has been selected as the best in Japan
All of the water that comes out of the taps in the inn is underground water that springs from the bedrock of Mt. Tangara, located up the mountain from the inn. This soft water has been selected as the best quality in Japan, and is smooth to the touch and gentle on the skin. It can be used throughout the inn, including as drinking water in the guest rooms and in the showers in the baths.
The water is also used in cooking, and the restaurant serves kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal Fukushima ingredients. The plumply cooked rice in a pot and the flavor of the dashi stock are accentuated by the spring water-fed trout dishes (special order), which go perfectly with the local Fukushima sake carefully selected by Sansuiso.
The open-air hot spring bath boasts an abundant flow of approximately 260 liters per minute, offering a panoramic view of the Arakawa Nidan Falls, a clear stream gushing down vigorously. It's truly a "eat, drink, and look" experience. You can experience the blessings of water with your whole body.
