Nikko Senhime Monogatari is located in a special scenic spot just a 5-minute walk from the World Heritage sites of Toshogu Futarasan Shrine and Rinnoji Temple. Situated on the "Northern Star Road," which connects Edo Nikko to the Big Dipper, it is also a very popular base for visiting power spots.
This inn is filled with feminine kindness. Many people visit on mother-daughter trips or girls' trips, and the inn staff treat female guests with meticulous care, calling them "princesses."
There are eight types of guest rooms. All rooms are spacious and offer a traditional Japanese aesthetic, overlooking the magnificent natural beauty of the Otani River.
The popular "Japanese-style twin room with semi-open-air bath" becomes a fully open-air bath when the windows are fully opened, and the spacious 15-tatami mat room is furnished with twin beds, offering exceptional functionality and comfort. Guests are also captivated by the scenery of Naruyama and Otanigawa, which changes with the seasons. There are also a limited number of special rooms equipped with Airweave beds and Japanese-Western style special rooms, which are designed with comfort in mind from a woman's perspective, creating a princess-like atmosphere.
For women, the hot springs offer a relaxing experience with extra amenities such as a large public bath and open-air bath featuring alkaline simple spring water known for its skin-beautifying effects, a "Thermare Mist Sauna" where ultra-fine water droplets moisturize the skin and hair, and a silky bath that promises beauty benefits. For men, there are two types of saunas, dry and mist, for an even more refreshing experience.

The attraction is the food
Kaiseki cuisine featuring the specialty yuba and branded wagyu beef

Dinner is a seasonal kaiseki meal created by the head chef, who has won the Minister's Award three times at the All Japan Japanese Cuisine Competition. The basic menu includes Nikko yuba (tofu skin) served in a Kyoto-style simmered dish and the "Senhime Gozen," which is made with flavorful broth and seasonal ingredients. Guests can also choose the "Special Kaiseki Gozen," which upgrades the main dish to shabu-shabu with "A5 rank Tochigi Wagyu," a premium brand of Japanese beef.
What will impress even the most discerning foodies is the monthly changing "Seasonal Master Kaiseki Set Meal." This inn's proud cuisine allows you to savor locally sourced seasonal ingredients, yuba (tofu skin) made by the long-established "Ebiya" (known for its top-quality products in Japan), and A5-grade Tochigi Wagyu beef. Every set meal features "Nikko Anshin Rice (Koshihikari)," specially cultivated rice grown by local farmers using reduced pesticides and no chemical fertilizers. For breakfast, you can enjoy soy milk tofu made with delicious Nikko water and domestically produced soybeans, which you can cook at your table.
This hotel offers facilities that create a premium holiday experience and heartfelt hospitality. It's a place that will greatly benefit not only female guests but everyone.
