Matsunoi is located at the source of the Tone River, overlooking Mt. Tanigawa, and is a popular inn where you can enjoy the "spring waters" of four hot springs.
The hot spring is a superbly matured hot spring that has permeated the ancient limestone strata over many years and has been slowly matured by geothermal heat. At the inn, the hot spring is poured as "spring water" from the bottom of the two large baths, three open-air baths, and five private baths, so as not to expose the source to air. It is a raw hot spring with no added water. Both "mature hot spring" and "raw hot spring" are names unique to the inn and are registered trademarks.

The Meguriyu Corridor that surrounds the 33,000-square-meter Japanese garden Kanematsuen includes the Firefly Light Bath, which has flashing lights that resemble fireflies flying over a stream, the large open-air bath Hiakari No Yu, from which you can watch the bonfire, the elegant large bath Tsukiakari No Yu, and a private open-air bath, allowing you to take in the tranquility of the garden as it changes with the seasons.
There are a wide variety of guest rooms to choose from, including Zuiunro, Zuisenro, Zuihoro, and Zuitenro, as well as rooms with open-air baths fed by natural hot spring water. In 2023, a villa called Shiki no Yuyado Momoyamaryu will open, renovated from a long-established inn built in the Momoyama architectural style. There are seven modern rooms with wide bedrooms and semi-open-air baths. Guests can enjoy the ultimate private time while looking out at Mt. Tanigawa and the Tone River.

The attraction is the food
A wide variety of safe, fresh and delicious menu items based on carefully selected local fresh food

Image: Buffet

At the Matsunoi buffet, you can enjoy a diverse menu of fresh, locally selected foods, with chefs preparing delicious dishes using seasonal local ingredients in a live cooking session.

The food is also impressive. The president himself is particular about food safety and security, and Matsunoi is well-known for its diverse buffet menu of "selected fresh foods" that are carefully selected from production areas and producers. With reliable ingredients and reliable skills, they prepare reliable deliciousness.

For example, the "natural bluefin tuna sushi" delivered directly from Toyosu Market is absolutely delicious. It is a delicacy that can be said to be the symbol of Matsunoi cuisine and is extremely popular.
The buffet hall was renovated in 2021, and the counter-style stage kitchen allows you to enjoy freshly prepared dishes by Japanese, Western, and Chinese chefs in a live setting. The wide variety of dishes on the menu is also appealing.

The Japanese cuisine is a seasonal Japanese course meal using "Joushu beef" raised in the natural environment of Joshu, fresh vegetables from the restaurant's own farm and locally grown vegetables, and fresh seafood delivered directly from trusted fishing ports such as Choshi and Niigata. Please enjoy the "seasonal produce, seasonal consumption" that the chef is adamant about.
In addition, the roadside "Shokusai no Eki M Forest" has a wood-fired restaurant and a direct sale store for agricultural products. On the terrace overlooking the magnificent Tone River, you can enjoy authentic pizza and other original dishes with a full salad bar and free drinks.
The hotel is barrier-free and equipped with all the necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.
