Manza Onsen, has 27 hot springs with a daily flow rate of 5.4 million liters.
The spring quality is an "acidic sulfur spring" that boasts one of the highest sulfur concentrations in Japan.
Located in a volcanic plateau more than 1,800 meters above sea level , Manza Onsen is the longest-lived hot spring in the East and is comparable to the world's three longest-lived villages. 5.4 million liters of water gushes out every day, with a temperature of about 80 degrees, and 27 different types of hot springs. An enormous amount of hot spring water gushes out from the Nisshinkan site without the need for drilling.
The spring quality is an acidic sulfur spring with one of the highest sulfur concentrations in Japan. It is so healing that even hot spring sommeliers have praised it, saying, "If you were to compare it to a supplement, it would be like a multivitamin."
Enjoy the three baths made from natural wood. The one you'll want to rush into is the open-air observation bath "Gokuraku-yu," also known as the "starry open-air bath at an altitude of 1,800 meters."
Immerse yourself in the bath and you'll feel like you're in heaven. The powerful milky white water and the scent of sulfur will soothe you. Look around and you'll see the magnificent view of the magnificent Manza Mountains. You'll want to soak in the bath again and again, whether it's at dusk, in a moonlit or starlit night, or early in the morning.
The large public bath "Choju no Yu" offers a variety of baths, including an Oba-yu bath with 100% natural hot spring water, a bitter bath that can be enjoyed by a large group, a waterfall bath where you can enjoy a cascading waterfall, and a pure bath that uses mountain water. If you add in the private bath "Enman no Yu" with a free-flowing hot spring water source, and the panoramic bath "Manten no Yu" made of natural cypress in the new building, which is equipped with modern guest rooms, you will have an exceptionally satisfying hot spring tour.
Located in the modern new wing, "Yubo," is the "Manten no Yu" hot spring bath, available exclusively to guests. It is the newest bathhouse in Nisshinkan, made entirely of cypress wood.
The attraction is the food
The inn hopes to improve the body's resistance and immunity. At high altitudes, cellular metabolism becomes more active, and when combined with the benefits of the high-quality hot springs, it also stimulates appetite and enhances the body's natural healing powers.
Nisshinkan offers a new type of therapeutic stay that combines fantastic hot springs with food, entertainment and early morning walks in the great outdoors.
Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. Dinner is a balanced menu of over 40 Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes with a focus on "Magowayasashii," while breakfast is a healthy menu of over 30 Japanese and Western dishes under the theme of "Sukoyakadayo." A free cultural live show from 8pm will invigorate your mind. Be sure to also take an early morning walk led by a famous guide from 6am.
Manza Onsen is one of the highest hot spring resorts in Japan that you can reach by car. If you are traveling by bus, we recommend taking the round-trip direct bus that connects Shinjuku and Nisshinkan Entrance.
A cultural live show is held every night in the lobby. Having fun and smiling is also a good way to stay healthy.
