A spirit of service, a deep respect for Japan's oldest "divine hot spring," and a desire for healing...
A traditional inn providing unique "customer satisfaction."
Kasuien is a traditional Japanese inn where you can enjoy the "divine hot spring" that has been gushing forth for 1,300 years.
Minami Uruwashi Resort was opened in 2023, inspired by the power of magatama, a jewel made from blue agate from Tamatsukuri. Based on the concept of a worldview where the power of history, hot springs, and healing come together, it is a complex healing space that wishes for release and recovery of the mind and body, with an open-air observation bath that embodies the divine hot springs and skin-beautifying hot springs of Izumo and Tamatsukuri, where the gods gather, and the Uruwashi Garden, which is sprinkled with the spirit of service of the inn, which follows the teaching of Matsudaira Fumai, the seventh lord of the Matsue domain, "Be a host with the guest's heart in mind," creating a memorable travel experience.
The Uruwashi Garden on the first floor is home to conceptual facilities that embody the inn's philosophy, such as the Minami Premium Club Tenchi, which is exclusively available to premium plan users; the women-only Beauty Salon A-Nyo, where guests can enjoy soothing experiences such as bedrock bathing and mugwort steaming; and the Stay Lounge Kosubaru-cha, where guests can experience the culture of tea ceremony, which was popularized by Lord Fumai, and relax in a gallery of the Minami Collection.
At the open-air observation bath "Tenyu no Yu" on the 9th floor of the West Wing, you can fully enjoy the "Divine Bath," which has been scientifically proven to have skin-beautifying and health benefits.
You can enjoy the high-quality "divine bath" in the open-air bath bathed in sunlight filtering through the trees.
The newly renovated Gosai no Yadori Hiten has comfortable Japanese-style beds to ensure a good night's sleep.
The attraction is the food
The guest rooms are also offering exceptionally relaxing spaces. The West Wing Tokino Yadori Ama Yura, which has the theme of a carefree, smart stay, has newly added rooms equipped with healing couches with the effect of a bedrock bath, as well as rooms with foot massagers, facial massagers and mist saunas, and premium rooms with open-air baths that flow directly from the source. The Kita no Yado Ayami no Yadori Kissho also has rooms where you can enjoy the divine hot spring water directly from the source, making for a relaxing stay.
Sanin is blessed with the bounty of the Sea of Japan. For dinner, enjoy the secret recipe handed down from the long-established inn "Minami," and enjoy a variety of seasonal flavors. For breakfast, enjoy a buffet of over 50 Japanese and Western delicacies, including clam soup from Lake Shinji and freshly cooked Nita rice. You can also enjoy freshly made food straight from the live kitchen. The dining area is packed with gourmet food, and you can expect it to be a long-established establishment.
