A relaxing inn overlooking Mount Daisen, Hoki Fuji, and the Sea of Japan.
The relaxing Japanese-Western style room with a modern Japanese feel is also a new option.
Soft and warm like chintz, and comfortable... Kaike Tsuruya is an inn offering warm Kaike tsuruya. Relax with a view of Mount Daisen, the highest peak in the Chugoku region, and the VIP rooms "Shokaku" and "Zuikaku" on the 8th floor of the East Wing, each with an open-air bath, are particularly elegant, purely Japanese-style spaces overlooking Mount Fuji, Hoki, and the Sea of Japan. You can also enjoy the ultimate holiday in one of only two special rooms, the "Panorama Suite with Open-Air Observation Bath."
The comfort Japanese-Western style rooms on the 6th floor of the South Building, which opened in 2023, include the 48m² corner room "Yumezuru" with a distant view of the Sea of Japan, and the compact "Comfort Room with Bed."
The stylish, modern interior and the Ryukyu tatami mats in the Japanese-style rooms are equipped with twin beds that can also be used in Hollywood style. This room is worth checking out, along with the newly opened "Yuzuru" comfort guest room.
The hot springs that bubble up in abundance from the sea are rich in marine minerals that are good for your skin and have excellent moisturizing effects.
It is poured into the large public bath bathed in sunlight and the open-air bath where you can feel the seasonal breeze.
Enjoy the hot spring baths "Sarasa no Yu" and "Nagomi no Yu." They are private spaces with decks where you can enjoy the breeze.
After your bath, head to the corridors and gallery surrounding the "Tsukuyomi Garden."
At night, the garden is lit up with LEDs, creating a fantastic light that vividly portrays a relaxing moment during your trip.
The attraction is the food
For dinner, you can enjoy a kaiseki meal filled with the bounty of San'in, including fresh fish delivered directly from Sakaiminato, local vegetables grown at the foot of Mt. Daisen, Tottori Wagyu beef, and other carefully selected high-quality seasonal ingredients. Recommended dishes include the upgraded kaiseki, a full-course meal with crab and other seasonal dishes that allow you to enjoy the flavors of the season, and a small, delicious course that prioritizes quality over quantity. There are a variety of dining locations depending on the plan. You can enjoy your meal in your room, in a private room at a traditional Japanese restaurant, or in a banquet hall with a panoramic view of Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan. Breakfast is a typical Japanese inn breakfast, with local Koshihikari rice, exquisite overnight dried flounder, and miso soup with clams from Lake Shinji.
The seafood landed in Sakaiminato every day is kept as fresh as possible.
If you're looking for teppanyaki, head to Steak House Ran on the first floor, which was upgraded and reopened in 2023. The high-quality Sanin Wagyu beef and fresh seafood cooked right in front of you are truly exquisite. You can enjoy a blissful time with a course meal.
Steak House Ran is one of the few teppanyaki restaurants in Yonago City, where you can enjoy luxurious dinner courses and lunches by reservation.
