Located just 30km from the heart of Sapporo, Jozankei Onsen boasts breathtaking natural beauty. Jozankei Manseikaku Hotel Milione, renowned as Sapporo's hidden gem resort, offers a variety of ways to enjoy your stay, utilizing the blessings of the region in every aspect, from its facilities to its hospitality.

A Western-style room with a private hot spring bath offering panoramic views of the ever-changing beauty of the valley.
Manseikaku has long been in harmony with Hokkaido's nature. "LEVELM" is a premium floor designed to allow guests to fully immerse themselves in its richness, beauty, and profoundness. There are four types of guest rooms. The most popular are the two "Western-style rooms with panoramic saunas," the first of their kind in the Jozankei area, located on the first floor 45 meters above ground. Guests can enjoy a refreshing stay while gazing at the seasonal colors and the Toyohira River gorge. The saunas are Finnish-style self-löyly saunas, so guests don't have to endure the stifling heat. The 114㎡ Western-style room with a "saunoa room" panoramic private sauna has a box-shaped flat bench facing Mt. Asahi, while the 72㎡ Western-style room with a panoramic sauna has a two-tiered curved bench that fits the human body. The terrace also has a cold plunge pool and reclining chairs for enjoying the fresh air and views, making it truly a "sauna that brings you peace with the seasons."
On the 11th to 13th floors are 14 Western-style rooms with private hot spring baths offering panoramic views of the valley. Each room is a spacious 80 square meters and can accommodate up to four people. The hot spring water is a colorless, transparent, and mild sodium chloride spring that warms you to the core, even in winter.
Shirakaba Roastery opened on the first floor of the hotel in June 2024. You can sample the beans in the store and purchase your favorite ones.
A new sauna with an outdoor terrace for enjoying the fresh air, and a large public bath of approximately 450 square meters, "Bisen," where you can enjoy the famous hot springs of Jozankei.
One of the greatest pleasures is the large public bath "Bisen," filled with rich, smooth-to-the-touch hot spring water that naturally gushes from 56 different springs. This spacious 450 square meter facility includes an open-air bath where you can admire the changing seasons of the Jozankei mountains, as well as a secluded hot spring with excellent relaxing effects, which you can enjoy for as long as time allows.
In 2024, the sauna on the premises was renovated into a spacious self-service and automatic löyly type. There are two types of cold plunge pools: one that is 1.1m deep enough to stand in and a bubble-type pool with different water temperatures. An outdoor relaxation terrace has also been newly added outside the open-air bath. After the sauna and after your bath, you can enjoy the mountain scenery and the mountain breeze, allowing you to achieve an even more complete state of relaxation.
Enjoy creative seasonal kaiseki cuisine at the "LEVEL M" guest-only dining area.
For guests staying at "LEVEL M," a creative seasonal kaiseki meal, blending classic and modern elements, is prepared at the restaurant "Kuksa."
With an entrance reminiscent of a traditional Japanese tea room's crawl-through entrance, a calming wood-toned interior, tableware selected to evoke the colors of nature and the mountains, and fresh seasonal delicacies carefully chosen from across Japan... As the name suggests, meaning "to bring happiness to those who receive it," you can fully enjoy a premium moment imbued with the hotel's sentiments.
The attraction is the food
Enjoy a creative seasonal kaiseki meal made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients
The much-anticipated cuisine offers a diverse range of options, including a Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet featuring Hokkaido vegetables and seafood, a creative seasonal kaiseki course available exclusively in premium rooms, and izakaya (Japanese pub) style dishes.
Dinner is a buffet featuring classic dishes along with approximately 80 kinds of homemade Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. You can enjoy it in a restaurant that resembles a colorful market.
At the live kitchen, Millione's signature authentic stone-baked pizzas and aged beef (aged for over 30 days) are popular choices. Breakfast is just as impressive as dinner, with a buffet of 70 items. Guests can enjoy a variety of homemade Japanese and Western dishes, along with freshly made rice balls and freshly baked bread from the bakery.
On the first floor is the stylish lounge "Birch Terrace ~Bakery & Cafe~," filled with the warmth of wood. Why not buy your favorite bread from the approximately 20 varieties baked in the bakery and enjoy it with a fragrant cup of coffee? On the terrace, you can relax and enjoy a pleasant time while floating your feet in the soft, soothing hot spring water.
As expected of a large hotel, the hotel boasts a variety of facilities, including an izakaya (Japanese pub) serving fresh seafood and a 20-meter-long indoor swimming pool, to enhance your stay.
Sapporo's hidden resort area is full of so many attractions that you can't possibly experience them all in just one day.
Authentic stone-baked pizza. Our homemade dough, made with carefully selected flour and our own levain starter, is kneaded with olive oil and fermented and aged overnight. We adjust the pizza dough's condition daily based on temperature and humidity, carefully monitoring its rise and browning to achieve the perfect timing for baking in our stone oven.
