The special Japanese-Western style room "Shiori" is located on the top floor (8th floor) and comes with a semi-open-air bath. It is the only room at Hagi Honjin that comes with a free-flowing hot spring, and is the largest of all the rooms at Hagi Honjin. The bathroom and facilities are also designed to be perfect for spending a special time.

The "sleeping room" of "Tsubaki-no-Yu" allows you to lie down and relax. You can enjoy the sensation of your body floating softly, so much so that you will fall asleep without even realizing it.

Boasting a prime location on the top floor (8th floor), the corner suite is a special room with a panoramic bath called "En." Windows on two sides allow for a more expansive view and gentle natural light.

The auto-louly sauna "Karakarano" at "Momiji no Yu" is a medium-low temperature, high humidity sauna that automatically pours water onto heated stones at 00 and 30 minutes past the hour to generate hot air.

Hagi Honjin is a landmark overlooking Hagi Castle Town from a hill in the east of the city. The lobby is also surrounded by stone walls, creating a castle town atmosphere.
Between 2020 and 2024, Hagi Honjin has been renovating its facilities, including the creation of new special rooms, new types of guest rooms, the lobby, and hot springs. There are now a total of four special rooms on the top eighth floor, including "Shiori," the inn's only room with a natural hot spring.
The special corner room, "En," has windows on two sides, allowing for a more expansive view and gentle natural light. All Japanese-Western rooms on the seventh floor face Hagi city and offer views, and are equipped with Simmons bedding and a shower booth with a rain shower and dimming function, allowing you to relax.
Yamaguchi is known for its fugu, or puffer fish. The word fugu is used to refer to puffer fish as both a familiar and auspicious name.
The "Tiger Puffin Full Course," available only in autumn and winter, is so popular that some customers return every year just for this dish.
You can enjoy fugu all year round with the "Refreshing Fuuku Zanmai" course, which offers multiple fugu dishes in the winter when it is in season, and seared fugu in the spring and summer. In 2023, "Choshu Seafood Uni Shabu" will be introduced, developed as a new local menu item for Yamaguchi. This luxurious dish is made by dipping seafood and vegetables in a rich soup made with a generous amount of sea urchin. It also comes with brand sea urchin in its shell, which makes for an impressive appearance.

Hagi Honjin Onsen is a private hot spring that is pumped up from a source approximately 2,000m underground on the premises.
The high concentration of ions in the springs is said to be effective for improving skin and joint pain.
The "Camellia Bath" and "Momiji Bath" are located in a corridor style around the garden. There are 14 different bathing styles, with men and women switching between them.
The mist sauna at Momiji-no-Yu has been renovated into an auto-loyly sauna, meeting the needs of those who want to enjoy a sauna both in the morning and at night. During the day, you can be soothed by the sound of the trees rustling in the wind, and at night, you can refresh your mind and body with a star-filled sky and clear air. Another appealing feature is that there are multiple baths, so you are less likely to be sharing a bath with other people.
In the exhibition room inside the museum, you can see Hagi ware flower vases and tea bowls, hanging scrolls related to Hagi city, etc. At "Omiyage Yokocho Hagi Oukan," one of the best in Hagi city, boasting a selection of about 300 items, you can also have them shipped to your home or as a gift.
At the top of the mountain behind the inn, there is the Okuhagi Observatory, where you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view and a comfortable footbath, and a steam locomotive bus runs from the inn at different times depending on the season. Below you can see Hagi Castle Town. Behind that is the Sea of Japan... As dusk falls, you can watch the breathtaking drama of the afterglow.
