An extraordinary and luxurious space offering the ultimate in relaxation.
A fascinating travel stage with a wide variety of options for guest rooms, fine cuisine, and baths.
Grandia Housen is an inn that offers a variety of extraordinary guest rooms and skillfully creates a relaxing atmosphere.
There are six categories of guest rooms. For a luxurious stay, there are 16 special suites with open-air hot spring baths called "Bettei Kotobukitei," which come in five types of elegant and luxurious spaces.
A modern Japanese resort surrounded by greenery, "Hanare Yutorogitei" has 14 rooms, including three deluxe rooms, each with its own outdoor hot spring bath in the garden. Just like Kotobukitei, no two rooms have the same layout, so you can enjoy a different impression each time you stay.
"Sakura Suite" has a spacious semi-open-air bath and is a sophisticated space made of natural wood, where you can enjoy the view and a high-quality atmosphere. "Hanare Kokomichitei" has an all-inclusive private lounge and has 13 rooms, including one with an open-air hot spring bath.
The baths are also outstanding. The "Ceiling SPA" on the 5th floor is an especially elegant refreshment zone. You can take turns bathing in the "Moon Bath" which is equipped with a large bath, a cypress bath, a reclining bath, a shower, and a sauna, and the "Star Bath" which is the same type of bath but also has a Awanoyu and an open-air bath. There is also a "cypress large bath" exclusively for guests staying in the villa and detached building, where you can refresh yourself while looking out at the garden.
The "Heavenly SPA" is equipped with a large bath, a cypress bath (photo), a reclining bath (jacuzzi), a micro-bubble bath, a shower, a sauna bath, a cold bath, and an open-air bath, allowing you to enjoy a particularly elegant bathing experience.
The attraction is the food
Meals can be combined with your room and guests can choose from four delicious dining options.
In the 550m2 Japanese-style main dining room with an open kitchen, you can enjoy a superb dinner buffet for adults prepared by the executive chef who oversees JAL's first-class in-flight meals. The menu is packed with delicious dishes, including seafood from the Hokuriku region, sushi, freshly grilled domestic beef steaks, freshly fried tempura, and local specialties.
The dining restaurant "Fukuraku," which opened in 2022, is a space where you can enjoy Fukui ingredients such as the "A5 rank Wakasa beef shabu-shabu kaiseki." Free "self-pairing" with drinks is also available.
At the modern private room restaurant "Yuzen," where the award-winning executive chef and Japanese cuisine chefs show off their skills in the Japanese Cuisine category of the Skill Grand Prix, you can enjoy the colorfully presented "Monthly Yuzen Kaiseki" with a lively atmosphere. You can also enjoy the local sake from Fukui recommended by the proprietress, who is a sake sommelier, and the wine recommended by the managing director, who is a wine sommelier.
Guests staying at the villa Kotobuki-tei will be served a monthly "Kotobuki Kaiseki" meal prepared by a dedicated chef in a private Japanese-style restaurant that opened in 2023. The freshly prepared dishes brought out one after another from the private kitchen are full of fresh seafood from Echizen and seasonal ingredients from the mountain villages. They are truly delicious. Guests staying on the first floor of Kotobuki-tei can also choose to dine in their rooms without any worries.
The chef's recommendation is the "Seasonal Sashimi & Wakasa Beef Shabu-shabu Kaiseki" course, which uses the highest quality meat certified from Wakasa beef that has been painstakingly raised.
