This inn aims to create a "ryokan culture" by providing a hospitality experience.

Located in Inatori Onsen Hamanoyu, which juts out into the sea like a peninsula, Hama-no-Yu offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean. You can enjoy this spectacular view along with a soothing hot spring at Sky Fontaine on the top floor, 8th floor. It is a large, relaxing space with 16 bathtubs spread across the entire floor. The large baths are the 23m long Boyo Dai Rotenburo and Manten Daiyoku. Each bath is equipped with a Tembo bath (indoor bath), a large open-air bath, a standing bath, a reclining bath, a stone bath, and a sauna, and can be enjoyed by men and women on a shift basis. Manten Daiyoku also has a cave bath and a cypress bath.
The "Boyou Dai Open-Air Bath" is what fascinates everyone who visits. Not only can you enjoy a 270-degree ocean view, but it is an infinity open-air bath that appears to be connected to the sea, giving you the illusion of floating on the ocean. You can enjoy an extraordinary moment gazing at the ocean shining in the light during the day, and at night, soaking in the illuminated bathtub, gazing at the twinkling stars in the sky and shooting stars with their trails.
The moonrise is a moving sight. Especially on full moon nights, as the moon rises, the light creates a long ribbon on the surface of the sea called the Moon Road. Its fantastical beauty is enough to leave you speechless. In the early morning, you can also see the sunrise rising from the horizon, a sight unique to the east coast of Izu. The charm of Hamanoyu is that you can encounter many moving moments.

"Morning Funamori" At Hamanoyu, we try to change the ingredients of our "Funamori" for dinner and breakfast as much as possible. We came up with the idea of serving Funamori for breakfast after hearing a customer lament that they had drunk too much alcohol at dinner and forgot to eat it.

Hamanoyu has maintained a management policy of focusing on cuisine, as it has bidding rights at Inatori Fishing Port. The famous "Funamori Morning Plate" has been a big hit since it was first offered, and word of mouth has led to an increase in repeat customers. "If you want to enjoy fish dishes, Hamanoyu to go. I'll come back to eat." The boat-shaped plate has now become synonymous with Hamanoyu.

"Red snapper shabu-shabu."Hamanoyu changes its menu every two months, and offers a weekday-only plan where you can enjoy red snapper in sashimi, simmered dishes, shabu-shabu, and rice.

The Abalone Steak with Homemade Liver Sauce, which the head chef created with the hope that "you will enjoy the exquisite texture and flavor of the liver," is also delicious.

Hamanoyu, as seen in its red snapper, spiny lobster, and abalone

Hamanoyu always serves three standard dishes: red snapper, spiny lobster, and abalone. The dishes are all carefully prepared with the utmost care, and are a well-balanced selection of exquisite dishes, including dishes prepared with the skill of a craftsman and dishes with the volume typical of Izu. A symphony of delicious dishes is brought to the table.

The popular "Boiled Alfonsino" is a 100% reproduction of the stew made by Inatori fishermen. The rich, sweet and spicy broth and sauce are the traditional local flavor of Inatori. The Alfonsino is caught using "standing line fishing", a method in which the fish are carefully handled one by one, so it is extremely fresh. In the kitchen at Hamanoyu, 30 to 50 Alfonsino are marinaded in a large pot at a time, bringing out the exquisite flavor from the large amount of Alfonsino. The lobster used is from the waters off Izu Inatori, which is characterized by its unique flavor, broth, and umami. You can enjoy the dish "good raw, good grilled, or good boiled."

Hamanoyu Night Boat-Style Sushi The "Funamori" dinner allows you to enjoy the freshest seafood from Izu.

Hamanoyu signature abalone dish is the "Abalone Steak with Homemade Sauce." It is a masterpiece that combines the deep, luxurious seafood ingredient of abalone with the chefs' creative spirit and artisanal technique. The liver of the abalone, which is full of the flavor of the seashore and the minerals of seaweed, is strained and slowly cooked to make a sauce without using any chemical seasonings. The flesh is sautéed in butter, and what really stands out is the degree of doneness that only a craftsman can achieve. The essence of Hamanoyu cuisine is the determination to cook abalone without compromising its texture and flavor. Don't think that abalone is tough; Hamanoyu abalone has a soft texture and flavor.
