The Spa Suite Panorama View allows you to feel the natural pulse of the Kuma River up close. On sunny days, you can relax on the terrace counter or sofas, enjoying a resort-like atmosphere.

Ayunosato Sky Terrace "KUMAGAWA"

"KUMAGAWA" is a terrace in the sky on the seventh floor. "Yoga de Retreat" is a morning yoga session that offers a great view and is also popular.

Ayunosato, with the ruins of Hitoyoshi Castle on the opposite bank and the river below. This high-quality space harmoniously blends traditional Japanese design with a resort atmosphere, embodying the inn's aspirations for "luxury for the soul" and "ultimate relaxation."
The hotel offers 14 types of guest rooms, including suites where guests can enjoy the hot springs and the scenic beauty of the area. In 2024, rooms equipped with comfortable Simmons beds in tatami rooms were added. The calm, modern Japanese design soothes the soul and promotes deep sleep while feeling the pulse of nature. Guest rooms with private open-air hot spring baths include a panoramic suite of approximately 110 square meters, a luxury suite of approximately 90 square meters, and a premium suite of 70 square meters. An automatic heating system ensures that guests can enjoy a bath at the perfect temperature at any time, making the most of the precious hot spring resources.
The two bathhouses, which offer stunning views of the Hitoyoshi Castle ruins and the Kuma River from the perfect vantage point, are where you can enjoy the "Ayuri Hot Spring," a spring with skin-beautifying properties discovered by the founder.
On the 5th floor is the "Kura no Yudono," a bathhouse designed to resemble the white walls of Hitoyoshi Castle, and on the 3rd floor is the "Yama-nami no Yuya," a bathhouse with a sukiya-style design. The spring water is a bicarbonate spring containing metasilicic acid, which promotes blood circulation, metabolism, and skin cell turnover. Drinking the spring water is also possible.

Premium Room with Open-Air Hot Spring Bath

Enjoy the "Spa Suite Panorama View" with views of the Kuma River and the Southern Kyushu mountain range. Relax in the open-air bath with water directly from the hot spring source.

5th floor open-air bath and large public bath "Kura no Yudono"

The fifth floor open-air bath, "Kura no Yudono" is modeled after the storehouse of Hitoyoshi Castle. The inn is proud of its open-air bath where you can enjoy three different types of baths.

The attraction is the food
A marriage of Hitoyoshi's culinary culture, seasonal Japanese-Western fusion cuisine, and the famous Kuma shochu.

Kuma Shochu

"Kuma Shochu" is a local specialty that pairs well with food.

Dinner is a "Japanese-Western fusion kaiseki" meal that is deeply committed to Hitoyoshi's food culture and seasonal ingredients. It is a gourmet meal prepared using the best methods at the best time of year for the ingredients. From June to October, you can also enjoy grilled or sashimi of the famous natural sweetfish.
Complementing the cuisine is Kuma Shochu, a cultural property that is part of a Japanese heritage site and a brand recognized worldwide. We recommend "Hitoyoshi Okami Sakura," developed by the Hitoyoshi Onsen Innkeepers' Association. This aged sake, made with Hitoyoshi's famous spring water and locally produced "Hinohikari" rice, is aged for over seven years and can be enjoyed as a perfect pairing with the fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine.
For dining, choose between the modern "Dining Zenzo" or "Sagara Hanakoji," which also offers private rooms. You can relax and enjoy your meal in a beautiful setting.
The nighttime fun in Hitoyoshi continues. The "Kuma Shochu Lounge" is a free drink lounge exclusively for hotel guests. The Hitoyoshi-Kuma region boasts over 200 brands of shochu, offering a wide variety of flavors to enjoy.
In the early morning, be sure to visit the "Sky Terrace," where you can enjoy panoramic views of the gently flowing Kuma River and the mountain ranges of southern Kyushu. Refresh yourself by being close to the pulse of nature. For breakfast, replenish your energy with a delicious and flavorful Japanese set meal. There's none of the hustle and bustle of a buffet, allowing you to quietly recharge your mind.
The attentive service provided by each staff member, acting as a concierge, also becomes a memorable part of your trip.
